I’m finding it quite tough to work in the protein levels on the lower calorie days. I ended up just giving up tonight and adding another 50% to my protein shake. I’m enjoying the challenge though. And speaking of challenges, boy did I hurt this morning. Not all over, just certain muscle groups. It would have been so easy to not do the treadmill this morning, or to cut it down, but I pushed myself and finished it. And I couldn’t avoid it, but I did a small amount of snow shoveling this afternoon on the patio. The weather is warming up and we’re trying to cut a channel for the inevitable melting snow to run down. Unfortunately this is a two stage process, and the snow is quite heavy at the moment. I cleared a pathway down to the ice below, then lifted some of the ice afterwards. If it warms up tomorrow it should be easier to finish clearing it. Hopefully this will stop the water from coming into the crawlspace. I’ve never seen so much snow on the patio since we moved here over ten years ago. We’ve had snowy winters, but usually with some melting between the snow falls.
Oh well, spring is coming at some point. I’m just going to focus on doing my exercises tomorrow. I’ll admit I’m kind of looking forward to Saturday, and two days off from the lifting!
