DH has been home for awhile…it always makes me lose focus on everything but him…smile…(I suppose that is a good sign since we have been married for 18 years!) Our Thanksgiving was lovely…we are just now finishing up the turkey! He did a fabulous job on it! (Though the carving did drive him a little batty!) Turkey and a 24 hour marathon of House…sigh…perfect… My exercise has been hit and miss…my food hasn’t been bad…no real pig outs… My weight is still hovering…TOM is here so we will see what happens after he departs the area. My RR program is going well…I have been very on plan and learning a lot about myself… I have had some days where I just feel amazing! (TOM has spoiled some of the other days…predictably..) I feel really positive about the direction my program is taking at the moment.
We went to see Hoobastank at a small venue a few days ago…we had a really good time…it was DDs first general admission experience… She enjoyed it! DH has never really been a general admission guy so we got there early and managed a table for a good portion of the evening…he surprised me by getting up to work her up through the crowd during the main event. I have always been a general admission girl myself…Bring on the Pit! :) But it was really great that he wanted to do it. Of course there was the standard slam dancers in the middle that you always have to keep an eye on but mostly everyone was pretty mellow. It wasn’t a Seether or Nickelback concert…sigh..but it was awesome just the same! Sometimes you got to take what you can get!
We have finished most of the Christmas shopping…all the gifts are mailed out…DD is taken care of, I am still just looking for a remaining present or two… :) I was so saddened by the news of that poor man that was killed in New York…trying to protect that pregnant women… Why are people like that? Why is it worth risking peoples lives to get $10 off on a stereo…what is life worth? I never go out on Black Friday… Focus people…Christmas is love, family, and peace…not 1/2 price electronics!
