Look for somoene buying fabric who looks like they know what they are doing and ask them. I'm a fashion design student and have gotten job offers in fabric stores before. It isn't that wierd. Don't go somewhere like jo ann's fabric and dont go to one for home decor. If you don't see anyone who seems good in the store ask an employee if they know of anyone.
