Not really sure where to start to be honest, I am not the greatest at writing blogs but it’s time I started! So this blog is to diary the next 12 months of my life as I have decided I am dedicating the next 12 months to one thing and that is to losing weight! Obviously all the other general stuff will continue but my focus is going to be on my weight loss and becoming the person I so long to be.

The 12 months will start on tuesday at 6:30pm when I join a weight watchers class and finally face up to the weight I am. This will be my starting point and will be the heaviest I will be ever again! I am joining up with a friend and I hope that this will be the motivation to keep me going as my track record with dieting classes isn’t great. I know I will have a lot of weight to lose possibly over 7 stone so this is going to be a long process but I want to focus on 12 months and then break them down into weekly goals. Baby steps will get me where I want to be and if I look at the long road I will give up.

So this weekend I am going to prepare myself for tuesday. Do some food shopping and get myself lots of healthy fresh food in and lots of fruit and veg. I am also going to take my measurements so these can also be tracked and also take some photos. I may ask someone to take a full length one of me as this is always the hardest to do yourself but probably the one where you can most clearly see the changes.

Have been reading lots of before and after blogs today with photos and some of the women are so inspiring and it has made me realise there is no reason these girls can’t be me! I need to stop wasting my life and crack on and get this weight issue sorted as in reality it is the only thing in my life I am not happy with! I am 40 in 4 years and I am determined to be FIT and 40 and not FAT and 40.

So my plan this weekend is to do lots of reading and research and to get some inspiration, some recipe ideas and some plans to keep me busy as I am at my weakest when I am bored in the evenings. I am also going to look into a fitness plan too. So much to do but feel in a really good place to start.

Really hope to get some followers and friends on this blog too who are going through the same processes as me!
