Ready for change

Almost January and Im still in the same situation I was before~~~FAT!!!  I dont what makes me put this off. Im getting married in a year and a half , so I cant put this off any longer. I have a great supportive guy that doesnt care what I look like…but I care!! I hate being fat! I hate being tired all the time. Oh well..time to start over and get on the ball. No one can do this but me. It helps that my hunny is going to watch what he eats too and will walk with me. It helps to have a partner and what could be better than your best friend?

Im so excited! I am less than 1 lb from losing 50 lbs!! Its taken a long time, but defiantly worth it! I am so proud of myself of  actually sticking with something. Its so hard. Weight loss is a hard thing to deal with. It has to become routine, like part of your life. I hate writing down points, I hate measuring, but I do it because I have to!

Plus, im 3 lbs away from getting out of the 230’s!! 220’s Here I Come!!!!

Just thought id blog about it, since im so happy!

Ok, I should rewind a bit….2 days before the most romantic day, was Romantic day numero uno! My hunny gave me a promise ring!! Its so beautiful! Its a pink heart sapphire with a diamond on each side, set in white gold. Its so pretty! The engagement ring set I want is over 6,000 so hes got to save up for that lol.. We are planning to get married. Probably in the next 2-3 years. I dont want to rush things. We’ve both been married before. I want to have all my bills and his paid off first…PLUS..I want to be at my goal weight! Thats a big bonus for me, thats the light at the end of the tunnel

Ok, so on Valentines day..we went to Multnomah Falls. It was so romantic…granted it was raining, it was romantic. Just me and Rob. We hiked a mile up to the top. Now, a mile doesnt seem too long, but when its STRAIGHT UP, It IS!!! But we did it, together. I took tons of pics. If I can add pics to this, I will. After we came back down, we went to Hood River for lunch. Then drove up to Washington and drove around and took pics. I couldnt have asked for a better day

Then on Sunday we went to IKEA and spent the day sanding and painting our dresser and bbq’ing..It was great!

I am so stumped as to what to get my boyfriend for Valentines day. I know that normally Valentines day is for girls, but I want to show him how much I love him and how much he means to me. I thought about sexy lingerie but im not sure im comfortable wearing something like that at this weight. He ALWAYS tells me that he loves my body and that im super sexy, but I want to FEEL sexy before Im half naked lol..does that even make sense? I also thought about body paints and stuff for a romantic night in, but im kinda clueless about that too!

Im sure ill figure it out before Saturday….hopefully…

I love this thing! My daughter had wanted it (shes 10) for christmas..Im not sure why, but im thinking for the Yoga poses (shes weird like that lol) So I found one in Sept (thank goodness cuz after that, they were sold out and hard to find) So Christmas day rolls around and she was so excited to use it. She played with it for a bit..NOT doing the Yoga things, but the HULA HOOPS lol..she was totally engrossed in it..So this is where I come in…I hear this “Hey Mom, wanna try this”..I sweetly replied, “No, thanks”…then I hear a ” You will really like this”….I gently reply” Im doing laundry, maybe later”…she insists…”Moooooommmmm You will have fun!”..so what do I do? I say..”Alright, Ill try it”..I reluctantly step on and thats when I instantly fell in LOVE with it!! The hula hoops were sooooo much fun! My daughter says..”ok mom, MY turn” and I say “Heck no..im playing on it now” So needless to say, I was on it all night lol

I just got done doing 30 mins on it and taking a quick water break and thought id blog about it because its soooo much fun! If anyone is deciding on getting it or not..YOU SHOULD!!! Its fun!!

It was sooo beautiful at the Oregon Coast on Sat! I couldnt have asked for better weather. Plus I was with my wonderful boyfriend , so it was perfect! I dont know how I got soooo lucky with finding him, but I thank God for him everyday!

As for the eating…I didnt do as well as I had planned. I DID have fish and chips, but I didnt over eat. It was the jerky that I over ate. Oh well..not eating jerky again for a LONG time!

Then Sunday was Superbowl! My boyfriend makes this awesome dip and I just couldnt resist! Its not too horrible though, he made it with ff refried beans, ff sour cream, avocados , cheese, olives and tomatoes. Not bad..except that I practically ate half of it MYSELF!! Darn it for being sooooo good!!!!

On plan today though!! Ive lost 45 lbs in my weight loss journey! 5 more lbs till 50!! I cant wait to say ive lost 50 lbs!!

I lost a lb this week. I really really really wish it would have been more. But its going in the right direction, right? I ordered Acai berry and this Colon cleanser. My friend is doing that and she has lost alot of weight and has tremendous amounts of energy!! Shes got 4 kids and shes going strong all day long with it!! I figured I might as well try it, what have I got to lose? My bf is trying it also. Im kinda worried about the Colon cleanser though lol…

Im going to the beach this weekend and im kinda worried how im gonna eat. I mean, im on WW and all that so I can figure out points and all BUT my weakness is fish N chips. So im afraid that if I figure it in, I will still over indulge and I dont want that. I think im just going to stay away from it all together!

I got on the scale this morning (its like my routine) and im up a lb. Not going to really worry about it too much though. My weigh in day is on Sunday, so I still have a few days. My weight loss has REALLY slowed down this time. Normally when I start on WW, I lose like 7 lbs the first week…well this was NOT the case. Its only been about 1 lb a week, with the exception of 2 last week. I wish weight loss was easy, but we all know its not. We didnt gain it all in a day, it wont just disappear in a day either! Too bad lol. Oh well..back to the drawing board…
