Calorie Calculator/ Body Fat Calculator

So I’ve been doing online calorie calculators to see what would be a managable calorie intake to lose weight.

To maintain my weight : 2105 cal

To lose: 1684

To lose extreme weight: 1600

(I don’t know what extreme weight is, but I’m hoping its 2 lbs a week, but I’m more realistic its 1 lb)

Also I did a body fat calculator and I’ve always been curious about how overweight I actually am. I’m 5′10″ and yes I’m actually “big boned” I have a large frame and so I think I’m able to carry off the weight without looking it or having any rolls. In fact every time I get weighed in at the doctors office the nurse starts out very low when weighing me and is very surprised when I’m over/at 200. Anyways I did a body fat calculator which includes waist measurement (mine is 33.5″) which I think would make it more accurate (though that may be wishful thinking). It puts me at 23% body fat, I feel like thats super low.

However I’ve always been frustrated by the strict guidelines and numbers that tell us wether we are fat/thin and healthy/unhealthy. Most people hearing 170 lbs for a woman would think that thats a lot, but with my height and frame I think it makes sense, I am not meant to be thin and I’m ok with that. I would have to devote my life to working out and eating very little to be what I think most people, my age at least, would think of as ideal. I just don’t think that anyone’s weight or general health could be one size fits all.
