YAY! for the Yam Fries…they came out Delish!!!


2 large peeled sweet potatoes (about 2 pounds)
1 T olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Vegetable cooking spray

– Clean and peel potatoes, cut into french fry strips (1/4-inch by 1/4 inch).
– Combine oil, cumin, coriander, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
– Add potatoes and toss well to coat. Arrange on a single layer on a baking sheet coated with vegetable cooking spray. – Bake at 425 deg for 15 minutes. Flip potatoes over, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until browned.

Cooked Fries – I know they don’t look that great but they taste awesome! 🙂

    these are awesome. i actually just cut up a sweet potato, salted it, and roasted it, and it was awesome too. but i bet it would be superb with all the seasonings you suggested. mmm… i’m drooling now. i wonder if hooters has sweet potatoes. mmm…
