I look forward to…

I was thinking today of some things that seem small that I look forward to when I am thinner. One thing that came to mind was not having to take pictures at an angle so my face doesn’t look fat haha. I do this with any picture that I plan to share with anyone or put on facebook. Sitting on my bf’s lap without worrying I’m going to crush his legs would be nice. Wearing ‘girl shorts’… The only shorts I’ve ever worn were ‘boy shorts’ that come down to my knees. And being comfortable wearing tank tops in public! That will be so nice for the summer. And I want to see my collar bones clearly for the first time ever!

I did weigh this morning and I am at 199.7. I have kinda gotten away from the exercise a bit. BUT, I am doing great as far as eating! My body is still getting used to not being fed a ton of high calorie food and sugar. My new secret weapon is minty gum. I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand eating anything after having brushed my teeth, so it’s the same thing with minty gum. If I feel hungry and its not time to eat anything or I’ve eaten for the day, I just chew some gum.

I made a mini-goal for myself also. I want to be in the 180s by Easter (April 24th).. or at least the end of grooming academy (which I think is May 1st).

Movie then Birthday

So Friday we (sis, bf, and I) went to see Sucker Punch! It was really good and I’m sure I’m cosplaying as Sweet Pea in June. I did have some gummy worms at the movie though. I also missed exercise.

Saturday was my birthday. I turned 23 :D. I did OK as far as food. I did have ice cream from Coldstone though. I also missed exercise lol. BUT, Sunday (rest day) was really good as far as eating.

Its Monday now and I am back on track. I have been noticing that I’m going to have to get my body used to eating less. I feel like I am having hunger pangs after eating, but I think its just because I am eating less food than my body is used to. So far I’ve eaten 1C raisin bran, 1C 2% milk, and a small apple. I’m trying to drink plenty of water to help me feel more full.

Exercise and Music

I don’t think I mentioned this before, but for exercise, I started The Biggest Loser: Last Chance Workout Dvd. Today will be day 3 of week 1. I’ve done this dvd in the past with my mom so I know exactly what it entails. Let me say that it is freaking TOUGH. I am sooooo sore right now and kinda dreading today’s workout. I am waiting for my lunch to settle before I start. Anyway, the talking/music on the dvd gets pretty annoying, especially if you are going to have to hear the same thing 6 times a week. In order to change this, I made my own LCW playlist. They’re all pretty upbeat songs that will give me a good rhythm while I exercise. Here are the songs that I have so far:

Motivation

So if anyone actually reads this sad excuse for a blog, one of my big motivators is the Anime Mid-Atlantic Convention. I’m about to be 23 and I’ve never been to an anime convention. Not that I’m really really into Anime, I just think they look like so much fun. I love the idea of cosplay and like seeing pictures of cons. So in June, I will be attending my first Con. My even-geekier-than-me sister, who is 14 btw, got me intrigued about them. Now you may be wondering, how is this motivation??? Well I am going to be cosplaying with my sister at this next convention, and my character is going to be one of the girls from the new movie, Sucker Punch. Of course, it doesn’t come out till this Friday, but I’ve seen soo many previews and I think it will be AWESOME! I havn’t chosen what girl I will be dressing as, since I havnt seen the movie yet. Its motivation for me though because if you havn’t seen the previews, their costumes are all tight and sexy! Sucker Punch Movie Trailer

I don’t feel very sexy with the shape/weight I am at now, so this is a great motivator for me to lose at least 30lbs by the Con.

First Post.. I am COMMITTED!

For the first time, I feel like I am 100% committed to exercising and eating right. I can’t count how many times I’ve said to myself that I was going to lose weight. Too many probably. But this time, I will not let myself fail. Everything is slowly falling into place with my life now, and I feel like now is the time to be committed to this.
