For as long as I can remember I’ve been overweight. In high school I was chunky, but my weight was steady. My college years consisted of too many trips to the nearest drive-thru for “something quick” and countless late night study/snacking sessions. This, combined with my lack of motivation to engage in any kind of physical activity, brought me to where I am today.
So why am I here?
I’m not looking for a “quick fix.” Like many of you, I have tried more diets and weight loss pills than I care to count. I know that if I want to lose weight (and keep it off), I’m going to have to make some serious changes in my life. Part of that process is going to be changing the way I think about food. It’s going to be a bumpy ride, but I feel like I’m finally ready for it. And, having said all of this, I know that I will need some support. I’ve never been much of a blogger, but I’m willing to give it a shot. Looking forward to chatting with some of you and reading about your success!
