Every Day Is The First Day

Every day, is the first day. Every meal, the first meal. Every bite, the first bite. If I have a slow weight loss one week, I don’t let that get me down, it is behind me one minute after it happened. When I have a major successful week, I celebrate, then put it behind me. I can not relax or rejoice the wrong way. One minute after that success happens, it is over. The moment that counts the most is now and what I do with it.
I found this on Galen’s Blog. Galen has lost a lot of weight in 6 months. Here’s the link to her blog, I found it very motivaitonal.http://www.thenottypical.com/index.html
Oh So Many Thoughts I Need To Get Down

I have so many things to get down so maybe I can read them later and get motivated again. On Biggest Loser, it was a trip down memory lane, and it really got me when they explained to Ron, the 400 plus pound dad, about how the fat was around his heart, the white stuff on the scan, and how he had lowered it by all the exercise and weight loss even though he’s not at goal, there are already improvements. Tara, the former model was so emotional that she won the last challenge, going over 16 sand hills carrying the weight she had lost, and she said it’s all about believing in yourself. That really made me think that I need to start believing in myself.
I have exercised regularly now since the first of February, that’s 3 months. I do see some change in the way some of my smaller underwear fits. I can now do the 2 m watp with not much problem, I am getting stronger.
I am determined to get stronger, and even lose more weight. As of today, I weigh 280.4, just a little from 279, I can’t wait to get there. That means I have lost 7.2 pounds so far.

Alright - obviously this was a rough week for a lot of people… keep in mind your weekly goal - whether you hit your goal last week or not you HAVE to work for your weekly goal!!! 2009 is 1/4 over - it’s time to get SERIOUS about this… there is no 1/2 way on weight loss… life is ALWAYS going to happen - and you DO NOT have control over when things happen… what you DO have control over is how YOU react to it - how you treat yourself through it and what you do for YOU to get through it!!! Let’s have a MUCH better week 2!!!
This is what Eny posted on 3 Fat Chicks for all of us in the challenge. And she is so right. It’s time to get busy and reach our goals. How in the world do I think I’m going to prevent diabetes and lose 60 pounds this year if I don’t get busy. And I saw Valerie Bertinelli in a bikini, with such beautiful abs. And I remember how she used to look, 40 pounds heavier. How do I think I’m going to look like anything similar eating all this junk.
It’s time to get busy and just do it.
