It’s official.  My snooze alarm doesn’t work.  I had an incident with it a couple of weeks ago and didn’t know what happened.  It did it again this morning.  The alarm went off at 4:45, I hit the snooze button and woke up at 5:30.  Doesn’t give me much time for blogging.  Guess I’m going shopping for a new alarm today.  In fact, I was wanting a clock radio.  We got a snow day Friday and I didn’t want to turn on the TV in the bedroom because DH was off work and I didn’t want to disturb him.  By the time I got up and got the TV turned on in the living room to find out that we were off, I was awake too much to go back to sleep.

Checked the weather channel and it looks like tomorrow we’ll actually get above freezing.  Looking for an inch of so of additional snow today but then it should get a bit warmer the rest of the week.

I have to work today and then I’m presenting a two hour PD session after work.  Gonna be a long one.

Yikes! That is a long day. I hope that it goes fast for you. We are having the same weather here VERY cold, and one or two inches today. sigh I am ready for spring now!

There is an alarm clock out there called “Clocky” that runs away while beeping so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. Hee! Here are some more of his features:

Featuring a customizable snooze time up to 9 minutes, Clocky can be set to run away right or to snooze once.
Will jump off a nightstand from up to 3 feet high; wheels can be disabled when running away is not desired.

Is that a hoot or what?

I love my radio/alarm. It has a CD player, and the alarm can be set to go off to a CD, radio or beeper. The alarm starts off quietly, so you aren’t jarred out of sleep. It also has 5 different timed sleep settings, so you can listen to the radio or music at night and it will quietly fade away at the time chosen.

Hope your day flies by!

That’s dangerous - could oversleep things more important than just blogging!

I actually stopped using snooze this summer. I’ve been a multi-snooze person all my life & realized that it just wasnt fair to my husband (who is not a snooze user, he just gets up) so I decided to force myself to try it for a week.

I was surprised how easy it was, and the fact that I’m more honest with myself about what time I really have to wake up.
