Sistah Pat

Six and a half hours of great sleep!  Went to bed at 10:30 and slept great until I got up at 5:00.  It always feels so great to sleep this time of year.  Just cool enough to enjoy snuggling under the covers but not really cold.  I wanted to hit the bed early but got caught up in So You Think You Can Dance and Glee.

Today’s a busy one…We have a coffee cake session going on all day where teachers can come to the library to enjoy some coffee cake or cookies and learn about a particular topic.  Today, it’s the grade/attendance program our school district uses.  Sistah Pam is coming out to our school today so most of the burden will fall on her but I’ll help out as much as time allows.  First period, I have to work with a new teacher in her classroom.  Second period, I’ll be helping with the coffee cake session, third and fourth periods, I have classes and last period, I’ll be coffee cakin and working on laptops.  After school, I’m attending a PD Sistah Pam is presenting from 3:00 to 5:00.  I’ve worked at least two hours over every day last week and everyday this week.  Next Monday will be a regular work day and it almost feels like a day off is coming up.  To be able to actually get off work at 2:30!

Think I’ll make it a point to get to bed by 9:30 tonight and enjoy some of that great September sleeping.  Hard to do with the new fall shows starting.  Maybe I shouldn’t even look at the TV schedule tonight.
