My Glasses Are Back
A few months ago, little miss Safiya broke my glasses, a couple months later, on a day when I was out of contact lenses and relying on my second pair of glasses… little miss Safi got those too.. destroyed.. oh I was upset.. so for the last month I’ve been relying on an old ugly pair of glasses that are not my prescription anymore, and contact lenses.
Yesterday I got both of the broken glasses back and I’m so happy. My eyes are so tired from wearing contacts so much and those horrible other glasses.. I think I’m going to wear glasses for the next couple of days and give my eyes a rest.
Okay so I’m weighing in today because there will be no time tomorrow morning. 182.4 lbs. Let’s see where I am when I get back. I’m hoping to stay the same. I so just want to see the 170s now that I am going to be good.. really good while I’m there.. but I don’t want to be a pain in the ass about it. I’m going to exercise though for sure.
With respect to the w8challenge, I’m at 17.5 stars, which is not bad.. but I was hoping to get to more than my last month total of 29.5 in this month, which may be hard considering I’ll be gone for ten days.. I’ll keep track from there of whatever I manage to do and input when I get back.

Lol your little girl is her own path of destruction?
What kind of contacts are you wearing- sounds like they aren’t good if they are making your eyes tired. If you wear them for extended amounts of time you really need to make sure you get oxygen permeable lenses. I use focus night and day contacts, they are so good for that
I think the focus dailies are good as well, but I don’t like to toss out my contacts each day- I wear a pair a month.
im glad you got your glasses back. I use to wear contacts all the time. I never had issues with them. then I had lasik surgery done. I am so happy I got that surgery, but now my eyes get really dry. I have to put lubricating drops in them daily. Giving your eyes a rest is a good idea. eyes are important

Thanks guys.. I’m back! As for the contacts.. I’m wearing Focus ones as well.. the monthlies.. but the problem was that my old glasses were of the wrong prescription and for some reason my optician gave me the wrong prescription for my contacts too.. so I think that was making my eyes tired.. just not being able to see properly. Now that I have my glasses back my eyes are feeling much much much better.
