Aquafit

So I bit the bullet last week and joined an Aquafit class. I don’t know why, but I am totally paranoid about hurting my knees running so I decided that I would go for the Aquafit class so I can still exercise without the worry of killing my knees. I think once I get to 180 then I will be more comfortable with the idea of running, but for now I will stick to walking, swimming and exercise DVDs at home.

The class was so much fun… and you’re doing some serious exercising too, stuff that I couldn’t imagine doing for that length of time if I didn’t have the water. It gives me some kind of extra confidence and it feels so amazing. I just hope my skin holds out until mid May when the sessions are over.

Oh and good news.. I hit 193.8lbs today! I’m so happy to finally be in the 193 range again.

    I tell ya, I am only 26 years old and thought that running shouldn’t hurt my joints…but there was a week or two that my knees were killing me. Running is HARD on your body!

  2. WTG girl! Sounds like a lot of fun- gyms are just too far from me (good ones) so that’s why I got my treadmill, I’m taking it easy though but I’m still working out a sweat from it- WOO HOO!
