Happy One Month Anniversary
So its been one wonderful month since I started this venture to lose weight. In one month I’ve had my ups and downs.. mostly downs. I’ve lost 14 pounds.. I’ve incorporated exercise into my life and I’ve started eating better. Started thinking about the calories I’m putting into my mouth. So here are the lessons I’ve learned.
- I need to exercise.. to help me not gain weight and because it makes me feel great!
- I need to eat my food only. No eating the left overs of my two little girls. I have different requirements than them. They need cheese and butter. I do not.
- Eating out has far more calories than I had even imagined it did. I knew it was bad. I didn’t know it was as bad as it is. You’re better off eating at home. When you can’t, pick stuff without sauces. Sauces are evil.
Anyway, these small lessons will be things that I have incorporated into my daily life and will continue to do.. even if I fall off the diet wagon, I will look at food and exercise differently for the rest of my life.
I still have to get the water thing going. I’m up to 4-5 cups a day, but that still is not enough.

WTG on the loss so far! Yeah it’s hard to get in all that water- some days I’m right on then other days I barely drink anything!
