And so the diet begins..
Well, yesterday was my first day of my diet.. It was rainy and miserable so I couldn’t get outside to go for a walk as I had planned. So, the kids and I went into the living room and had a dance party.
As for food.. I was pretty good.
Breakfast - Hot Water with Lemon, Yogurt and Grapefruit
Lunch - Brown Rice, Egg Whites and Vegetables
Snack - Green Beans and Carrots
Dinner - Brown Rice, Lentils and Brocolli
Snack - Yogurt Fruit Smoothie
For water I did horrible with only 2 glasses. I think this is my biggest problem with my eating/drinking. Unless I’m drinking juice or pop, I’m not drinking. So this is one of the major things that I have to work on. I’m sure my not drinking enough water also contributes to my skin problems.

welcome! Looks like you have a great start! I agree that things that go into our mouthes (or don’t) strongly affect our skin. Great idea to go for improving your appearance and getting out more, moving more - gREAT idea on the dance party! You can do this! Delita
I know what you mean about the water! For me, some days I have no problems and then the next I can’t seem to get in one bottle! What has helped me (and I’m not sure if this is on plan for you), is those little flavor water packets (like Crystal Light and Wylers). They are zero everything and some have a minimum of sodium. Then there are also diet teas or herbal teas that are chilled. Not zip in those herbal teas and they’re just like getting those Tazo teas at Starbucks but cheaper! Most need little to no artificial sweeteners too! Maybe try giving these a shot and see how it goes. I know for me, I can get in MUCH more with these! Good luck!
