Maybe I spoke too soon…
Last time, I said I was “staying on the wagon” as far as losing weight goes. Then I got the flu, and ate EVERYTHING in sight. Haven’t been to the gym in about two weeks and have been making bad food choices. Ick. I probably gained 6lbs or so. I am going to start going to the gym again soon. If not this week, next week for sure. I’m just not feeling 100% yet.
I purchased “Truvia” (the all natural sweetener that is supposed to taste better than Sweet-N-Low and Equal). I will have to say that I hate, hate, hate artificial sweeteners, but this is the best one I’ve tried. It isn’t good by any means, but I tolerated it. I put some in my tea and it was drinkable. But, in the end, I decided to mix sweet tea and unsweet tea (like half-half) to cut the calories in half. MUCH better, even if it does have calories.
I have regular internet access for now, so I will hopefully update more. How is everyone else doing on their weight loss journey?!

I’ve heard truvia has a licorice-like taste. I hate licorice.
In the end I found the approach of using nothing at all to sweeten was best - and from time to time real sugar.
Have you tried agave nectar? It’s not sugar free, but it has a low gylcemic index & the taste is quite good.
