I was trying SO hard to login and post yesterday, but I had such a manic day!!
So I decided that I WILL pop in now before all the madness begins and I will post my good nesw.

I HAVE LOST 2KG!!!  So according to Prof Google it is just over 4 pounds!!!  How freakin awesome is that???

So this means I went from 331.35lbs (according to Google) to 326.94 (according to Google) { I google “converts lbs to Kg”} I am so freakin excited I could just lay an egg!!!  Ok wait…that sounds gross!!!

So after my CRAZY day yesterday I just didnt have the energy to workout, BUT I cam up with a game plan!!!

I arranged with my sister to take my DVDs to her Nursery school; and that way me and her can work out and the kiddies can join us and have fun and get some exercise in aswell!! Please tell me this is a good idea…Im so excited about it! I figured that if I knew the kiddos were waiting for me to come workout with them, how can I back out?

Yesterday (monday) I fell straight back into my bad eating habbits, but realizing that I have done so I can make more contious decisions regarding my food intake today and the week to follow…HOW can I loose 2kg and then not worry to losse more…Im done with my slump and excuses…..this weight is not going to loose itself!!!

So we will start our first workout with the kids today and we will see how this week goes, and as soon as I get my P90X and Zumba dvds I can mix it up a little for the kids so they dont get bored with just the Taebo.

….. Motivation, Energy, Spirit…..

I was feeling ready to go yesterday…I did my squates for the squate challenge. I planned my workout for the evening, but when I got home I was so tired…I thought I would just lie on my bed for 2 mins and check my phone for messages….I fell asleep!!

I didnt sleep for too lang as i then did get a message on my fone and my friend stopped by my place real quick, and I thought – ok, now I must get on my gym clothes and get to sweating- I just coudnt.
I went and I put on the sauna and I ended up sweating in there, which I know does not really burn any calories, I was just so damn tired.

Then dinner had to be made….. I was like *#%&*$#@ NO!  I am not making dinner…..I ended up having an egg sandwhich….. I went to bed rather early and I slept like I was never going to wake up till this morning…I think I am starting to get sick…My sister was very sick last week and I think she might have given her nasty viruses to me! Other wise its a sinus attack…..Oh how I hate the changing of the seasons!

So today I will definatly do my squates again…Day2 = 55 squates.
I will definatly try to do my workout this afternoon…I cannot lie down and not do it! I MUST SWEAT!!!

So yesterday I was meant to walk with my friend ( the one who is getting married in Oct) at 17h30, but she let me know that she will only be able to be at my place by 6pm, so i thought AWESOME..let me relax a little…

And then I did something that I would have NEVER done before….I though…well I have time on my hands….let me do my Taebo DVD and walk with her (cos the walk is more of a bitching session than anything else. We just like to think we are working out) So I got up and I put on my workout clothes again and I did my teabo, and when she arrived at 6 we went for our walk, but we couldnt walk for too lang as the Winter is starting in SA and it is getting dark sooner.

It was so fantastic walking with her and us just venting about whatever is happening in our lives, but most of all I am SUPER proud of myself for actually working out when I had some time to spare…Normally I would have never done that!

Gosh Ladies… I have started my periods today, and I am feeling miserable!!  I am in pain, im SO tired even though I went to bed early, I feel nauseous, I am so irritated that im being such a bitch to one of my staff(she normally irritates me, but today……)  My periods have never really affected me this bad, so I need to know if this is normal or atleast half normal??

So back to the reason we are all here…. I do not know why, but I stuffend my face with 2 slices of bread this morning, 1 last nigh, and 2 bread rolls the night before…. WHYYYY am I sabotaging myself?? I was doing so good! Damn you periods!! I was driving this morning thinking to myself…why do we have to have it each month?? why cant we just have it like evey 6 months?? { OH WAIT!!!  I am off the subject again…OOOOPS}

So my friend who is getting married came to me again last night and we went for our walk..again, nothing strenuous at all, but it was just nice to walk with her and chat. As I have not been gymming for this whole week I was not too bothered, and today is my moms birthday, so I will also not be gymming tonight….I am going to go visit her and take her a prezzie BUT I will NOT eat cake!!

I need to get my focus rite (AGAIN) and start gymming again from next week, like full steam ahead! One of my other friends sent me a message saying that she is done with giving me excuses as to why she cant join me for gym, she will be at my house monday evening and we will gym every day, so im excited about that, and I know that when my friend is there I will be motivated to gym!

Im scared for weighing in this week, but lets see how it goed.

Ostrich Stroganoff Recipe February 20, 2013

  • 30 millilitre oil
  • 1 Red onion, sliced
  • 450 gram Ostrich steaks, cut into strips
  • 1 Red pepper, cut into strips
  • 150 gram button mushrooms
  • 500 millilitre low fat milk
  • 1 KNORR Beef Stroganoff Dry Cook-in-Sauce
  • 5 millilitre Chopped fresh sage
  • 10 millilitre Chopped Italian flatleaf parsley
  • 250 gram Brown rice
  • Instructions

    1. In a frying pan, brown onion in 30 ml oil.
    2. Add ostrich strips, red pepper and mushrooms and brown for 5 min.
    3. Add 500 ml cold milk to the pan, stir in contents of Knorr Beef Stroganoff Dry Cook-in-Sauce sachet and bring to the boil while stirring.
    4. Simmer uncovered for 25 min, stirring occasionally.
    5. When done, add herbs and mix through.
    6. Serve hot with brown rice.
