I walked for ~40 minutes last night but then I did something stupid - I hit the vending machine down the hall. It was a massacre…chocolate chunks, chip crumbs, and gooey candy blood everywhere… @.@
I ended up eating ~700 calories over my limit. I haven’t been too worried though, it’s the first time I’ve really had any junk food in weeks. But now I’m kinda craving candy which isn’t normal for me, even when I’m not trying to eat healthy. I need to find something chocolate-y that I can eat without consuming hundreds of calories in the process…

Try chugging water to wash the taste down. I know last night when I got home from my 12 hour shift I had two chocolate carmel things and all I wanted was more after that…but I chugged some water and it seemed to have helped with wanting anymore of those yummy squares…
Also I get what you mean, maybe since it’s a vending machine grab the one thing you want and walk away from it. I also now, if I go into a store and can’t figure out what I want (like which chocolate, or if I want candy) I leave that way I don’t buy a bunch of different things and eat it. Usually helps I don’t end up going back either hehe.

I used to buy dark chocolate squares from Godiva that I would savor in the afternoon. Each one is less than 45 calories (I remember). I’ve learned when I deprive myself I end up overeating because I can’t stop thinking about it.
Good luck with everything.
