msshiraz- peeling it off fast

rewriting the chapter in my life

Funny, when I first started this journey, it was to be a cerain weight by a certain time, not seeing the bigger picture. It all had to be done by the time I turned 40. In reality, it did not happen by the time I turned 40 last month. That being said, it was a successful year nonetheless! I learned so much about myself, and setting realistic goals.

Tony Robbins once said “Dreams are nothing more than unacheived goals!”. I love that- there is no mountain too big if you say ” I can”. We are our own biggest obstacles, as we all know.

Big news, workouts going great, got a little boring in December so tried something new- took a ZUMBA class and I am hooked. Now in February, I take 2-3 classes a week, and barely ever go to the gym anymore. So much fun, wish I had found this years ago. I love it so much, going to become an instructor in 2 weeks! I hope to inspire and motivate all whose path seems impossible to cross over, but you can do it!!

Hello world!

Started making small changes last fall, almost a year ago. Got aggressive with workouts in November, reinvented the workout wheel by starting a new gym in April- found out, hey, I thought I wasn’t the type to “SWEAT LIKE A PIG” at the gym- HA! I wasn’t working hard enough. In the last year, I have lost 36 lbs- plateaud more times than I would like to count, but the goal is in front of me, I will not fail!  I have another 36 to go for my “mini” goal, and 90 lbs total to go for goal weight. I will be 40 next January- I will hit my goal weight by that date
