Oh to be just overweight!

I am happily married (11.5 years) to a wonderful man that I’ve grown with emotionally and, unfortunately, physically.  We have enjoyed eating like gluttons for most of our married days.  When we did South Beach together a few years ago, we both had wonderful success.  My success ended during my subsequent (3rd) pregnancy and he gained it all right back with me.  We definitely like to do things together, I guess. 

Anyway, my DH got a job this past summer in a town 4 hours away, closer to our parents.  We were very excited to move our kids closer to their grandparents.  There was a small glitch in the plan, however.  We had to sell our house.  Unless you’ve had your head in a hole the last few years, you know it’s not a good time to sell, but we had to.  We just can’t do 2 mortgages.  So, here we are 6 1/2 months later and my DH is living with his parents near his new job and the kids and I are 4-5 hours away in our house that won’t sell.  We’ve gone back and forth most weekends and are coping with it remarkably well 90% of the time, but we ALL want to be together again.  Someone please buy this house!!!

I have 3 adorable children:  DS nearly 9, DD 5, and DD 3.  They are smart, healthy, wonderful little people that keep me on my toes.  My DS is like second conscience for me…whether I like it or not.  He’s always asking if what I’m eating is healthy and other related health questions.  I homeschool, so that part is nice.  We don’t have to worry about when the house sells, since it won’t effect us schooling-wise.  The kids have good friends  and we go to a great church over here and I think It’ll be a challenge when we have to leave them, but otherwise, the kids are excited to move.  It means having dad around everyday again and having all the grandmas and grandpas much closer.  I will certainly post any change in this (house) situation!
