I apologize for giving out unsolicited advice. It's your body and your choice. I just hate to hear about people eating too little.

As I say, I think you would actually find you lose better if you eat more. I certainly found this to be true. But first and foremost it's about eating enough to be both healthy and have a good metabolism. You can't do that eating under 1,200 calories a day.

It isn't about how fast you lose: it's about health and the ability to maintain long term. If I were eating like you, I would lose my mind. It is neither healthy, nor in my opinion satisfying. It's my opinion, only, though—well, the satisfying part, anyway. Health-wise most people would agree you are doing your body a disservice.

It's your choice ultimately. I just don't know why you wouldn't eat more if you could—which you could.

I've lost 10 lbs since then. That was posted a month ago, I believe. I've also lost over 35 lbs. in 4 months, which is approximately 2 lbs. per week. A good pace.

Listen to your dietitian. I'm 5' 3 1/2" and 110 lbs. and I eat 2,500 calories a day to maintain. Do you need that much? Probably not: I exercise more than anyone I know. But everyone needs to eat at least 1,200 calories a day for proper nutrition, and with your exercise you need more than that. You will lose weight much more effectively, and keep it off more easily, if you eat more than you are now. It sounds counterintuitive, yes? But it isn't.
