Well, I have 5 lbs. to go to reach my goal for the 4th of July Challenge.  It’s going really slow.  I’ve been keeping the calories low and exercising more.  Maybe too much?  Is there such a thing?

I added a new goal to the 4th of July Challenge: to get 8,000 steps per day.  And I’m doing it!  Some days it’s smack on 8,000 and some days it gets up to 13,000! Okay, it only did that one day so far… but I’ve only been tracking for about 5 days :) Today is about 10,000.  I had to take off my pedometer around 4:30 and it said 8,304 and it is now 6:03 p.m  and I have done a lot of exercise and movement.

I exercised a little *TOO* much today, I think.  I hurt myself!  I pulled a muscle in my left leg.  Then I kept going for some odd reason… now it REALLY hurts!  Let’s hope it’s better by tomorrow.  I’m not one for “rest days”.  I think I did about 2 hours of exercise total today.  Added it up on sparkpeople and it gave me some error message saying that I had exercised too much for my calorie level in big red letters! Crap!  Nah, it does that quite often.  Gotta fiddle around with it a little, I think.
