I hit my dietitian’s goal and then just flew right past it! Actually I’m going to see her today, but that’s another matter… Have been consistently working out over an hour each day, and my sprained ankle is finally healed! It was in a brace for about 2.5 weeks. Not long, but long enough.
So I guess today’s my Official Weigh-in day as well, isn’t it? I’ll put it down on my other page. Well, see you later!!!
MrsLovett
I am at 136 lbs. now. That means I’ve lost 35 lbs. in 4 months! One pound away from my first goal weight. So I guess that’s around 8 lbs. per month, or 2 lbs. per week, which is a pretty good pace! I mean, some months it was 10 lbs. and some months it was only 6 lbs. but I’ll take an average…
Still doing the kickboxing and the Wii Sports every day. Only problem is, I sprained my ankle and am wearing an ankle brace so it kinda limits things to about an hour, hour and a half. Then my ankle starts to hurt. My doctor did okay me working out, so it’s not like I’m going against doctor’s orders or anything like that! I walk quite a bit as well.
Trying to cut back on weighing myself so much. I think I’m going to shoot for once a day instead of 5 times a day (EEK!) My dietitian would be much happier with that.

Hi to all who are reading this!
So my dietitian wants me to maintain around 135 lbs… well.. I’m not really cool with that. I’m more happy with around 120 lbs. I’m 5′4″ and 138 lbs. right now and my self esteem is TERRIBLE. I know that self esteem doesn’t come with losing weight. Been there, done that. But at least at 120 lbs. I will feel better about myself than I do now.
So I reached my goal for the 4th of July Challenge, and then some (my goal was to reach 141 lbs.) I think they’re soon going to start a Labor Day Challenge and by my calculations, I can probably reach 125 lbs. conservatively by then (I think Labor Day is Sept. 7th). My ultimate goal is around 120 lbs.
Yesterday I exercised for 120 minutes. I forget what I did. I enjoy kickboxing! I do it for about 20-25 minutes per day, every day. It may not seem like much, but I do it every single day. I NEVER take a day off. I need to do that once in a while. I’ve been feeling so achy and like crap because of my scoliosis lately. And I think I may have injured my ankle? Maybe. Today I have done 75 minutes so far… but I don’t count everything I do like some people might. Maybe I should.
Alright, I just realized I forgot to have lunch. Oops! haha. Enough typing for now. See you later!

Hi!
My dietitian wants me to hang around 135 lbs. for at least a while. I’m 5′4″, and my ultimate goal is 120 lbs. So this morning I hit 142.0 lbs. Quite unexpectedly, actually! I thought I didn’t eat too well yesterday… and then this morning I was down a pound and a half! That makes four pounds lost in the last four days! Amazing! It had kinda stalled for the last week or so and I had gotten a little sad. I started exercising more and changing around what I was doing. To be honest, I think I killed my pedometer. I bought it a new battery, and it still only says I walk about 200 steps per day. After an hour and a half of exercise??? I think not.
Anyway.. I’d like to hear how you are all doing! Let me know!

I finally got down to 145 lbs, which means I’m “normal” for my height (I’m 5′4″). I just spoke to my dietitian, both by email and by phone, and she said to bump up my calories to 1200 ( had been restricting horribly), and to not be quite so obsessive with the exercise. I kinda hurt my leg, I exercised so much! 2 hours was a little too much for me, I think.
The small amount of calories I was eating has put me into starvation mode, I think, making it harder to lose weight… which might account for the slow weight loss. But I’ve always thought that if I’m not burning that much, why eat so much. I mean, I only exercise and burn about 300-500 per day (not counting normal activities). So why should I eat much more than that? Doesn’t make sense. So I hadn’t been eating much more than that.
My dietitian wants me to maintain around 135 lbs. which I’m not too happy about, but whatever. I had originally been thinking 120 lbs., but everyone seems to think I was “too skinny” at that weight. So, 10 lbs. to go!

Well, I have 5 lbs. to go to reach my goal for the 4th of July Challenge. It’s going really slow. I’ve been keeping the calories low and exercising more. Maybe too much? Is there such a thing?
I added a new goal to the 4th of July Challenge: to get 8,000 steps per day. And I’m doing it! Some days it’s smack on 8,000 and some days it gets up to 13,000! Okay, it only did that one day so far… but I’ve only been tracking for about 5 days
Today is about 10,000. I had to take off my pedometer around 4:30 and it said 8,304 and it is now 6:03 p.m and I have done a lot of exercise and movement.
I exercised a little *TOO* much today, I think. I hurt myself! I pulled a muscle in my left leg. Then I kept going for some odd reason… now it REALLY hurts! Let’s hope it’s better by tomorrow. I’m not one for “rest days”. I think I did about 2 hours of exercise total today. Added it up on sparkpeople and it gave me some error message saying that I had exercised too much for my calorie level in big red letters! Crap! Nah, it does that quite often. Gotta fiddle around with it a little, I think.
Anyway, I’m off. See you later (and hopefully *LIGHTER*!) Next time!

Hi!
This is getting crazy here! Of course, it’s my TOM, but I’ve stayed the exact same weight (give or take) for a week now. I’m getting frustrated! I’ve been staying around 147-147.5 lbs. for a week now. It’s time for a change! And NOW!
Yesterday’s exercise was 20 minutes strength training on the Wii Sports Active and then 30 minutes bowling. Not sure how much walking I did. I started wearing a pedometer yesterday and was sad about the results. Now, I don’t have a job at the moment, so that might account for a lot of the lost walking (I tend to go for active jobs, and when I wore my pedometer to work, would most definitely go over 10,000 steps for the day). I only walked about 5,000 steps! EEEK! Time to bump up the walking! Didn’t realize I was such a slug! Granted, I DID feel like a slug yesterday, and had to push myself to do things, so that may have been it, but that’s a dismal amount of steps.
Anyone else here count steps?
It’s supposed to rain here in New Jersey today, so if I don’t get to start walking today, I will walk in the mall or something! I mean, it’s supposed to rain buckets. Thunder and lightning reported nearby, so it’s dangerous to go out. Too bad fidgeting and nervous leg shaking doesn’t register on the pedometer, or I’d be off the chart!!! Haha! :) So, maybe mall walking it is! Leave the money at home though

Hi!
Since joining the CC 4th of July Challenge 5 days ago, I have only lost 1 stinkin’ pound! That means I have 7 more to go in a little more than a month! I have some work to do. I don’t know if I can do it. Do you think I can?
I exercised for an hour and a half yesterday. This included 40 minutes Wii Sports Bowling, 20 minutes EA Sports Active (cardio and strength training), and walked like a crazy woman for half an hour. It resulted in a half pound loss. Does this mean I have to exercise an hour and a half EVERY DAY?!?!?! Sometimes I help babysit for 13-14 hours (my mom signed us both up to babysit ALL THREE of the nieces and nephew, sometimes all on the same day. It’s crazy! They’re 3.5 yrs, 1.5 yrs, and almost 9 mos. I love them like crazycakes, but they run me ragged!) Some days, that’s the only exercise I get (as if that weren’t enough!). Haha, I find it funny that my Wii EA Sports Active counts my babysitting days as “Rest Days” when those days are more hectic than the days where I actually find the time to exercise formally.
I see my dietitian on Thursday. I am predicting that I have lost… *looks in her crystal ball because she can’t remember*… 7 lbs. since I last saw her! I know I lost about 6 lbs last month, and then I lost another lb. this month…? Why can I keep track? I should see her on the first of each month. That would make it easier. Then I would know exactly how much I’ve lost each month. I don’t like her scale though. It runs a couple of pounds higher than mine… it’s all high tech and fancy. Strange, because I have two scales, and they both say the same thing. I have my regular *OLD* digital scale (I’m talking 10 years old
) , and my Wii Fit scale, which I think is more accurate because my decrepid old scale only measures in half pounds, while the Wii Fit, goes by much more tiny measurements (can’t remember.. brain not working…) I go on the decrepid scale sans clothes to get the most accurate reading possible, and then I get on the Wii balance board with shorts and a t-shirt, then just tell it how much clothes I am wearing so it can adjust for that. It’s usually pretty much the same as the old scale, give or take a little. I wish I could buy a newer scale, but the Wii Fit balance board will have to do!
Alright, I’m done talking. Hope I didn’t bore you too much. Hope those of you who are on the 4th of July Challenge are doing well, and those of you who aren’t are doing well too. Thank you to all who have given me comments! I shall do the same in return!
MrsLovett
So, I haven’t posted in a looooong time. I know I always say that, but this time I will keep up with the posting! I just joined up with the “CC 4th of July Challenge” and my goals from now until the 4th of July are to:
lose 8 lbs.,
and exercise 6 days per week!
My birthday was a few days ago and I received the Nintendo Wii EA Sports Active as a present, so I started the “30 day challenge” 2 days ago. I figure this will help me along in my quest to exercise and lose 8 lbs. Just so you know, my current weight is 149.0 lbs. It’s 4 lbs. away from being “normal” for my height (5′4″), so losing 8 lbs. will take me 141.0 lbs. Yay! My real goal is somewhere between 115-120 lbs., but this is getting me on my way there. At least it will put me in the “normal” range and my dietitian will be happy! Who knows, maybe I’ll work so hard that I will reach my goal ahead of time. I’ve lost 22 lbs. in the past three months, 10 lbs. the first month, 6 lbs. the second month, and 6 lbs. so far this month (still have a few days left!
)
With the EA Sports Active, I am starting off with the low impact challenge, but I will soon try medium (or whatever it’s called, I forget). I’ll probably also incorporate my “Morning Bowling” if I can, which I usually do for half an hour. I bowl with both my right and left hands, for fun. I’m a righty, but oddly enough, I seem to bowl better with my left hand. Weird thing too, I was doing the Wii Sports Age the other day, and I played about 4 characters who were right-handed. Got terribly high ages… I’m 32 as of May 26th, and I was getting 38, 40’s and a 61 (?!?), so I decided to have some fun and play with my left-handed character. Got a Wii Sports Age of 31! Not the best, but the best of the day! I’d never played baseball and tennis left-handed before. I tell you, I’m meant to be left-handed… I’m so weird!:)
Anyway, I’ll leave you now and update my weight page. I’ll put in my high weight (I don’t remember the exact date or anything, but I can put in *something*), and I’ll put in today’s weight. Hope to hear from you soon!
MrsLovett
I thought today was my weigh-in day (it’s not, it’s Thursday!), but today I’m 156.5 lbs. Totally shocked me:( I thought I would be down. I guess you can blame it on my mom’s not-so-healthy dinners. I feel like the fattest person in the WORLD!:(
I did get to exercise a little bit last night, but not as much as I had wanted to. Only about 20 mins of step aerobics. The good news is, I start a step aerobics class tomorrow that’s twice a week, an hour each time. So at least that will be a good addition to the time I spend on my Wii Fit!
