Hmmm.. 3 to 6oz. sounds about right. Your protein source is usually your densest and supposedly you should only eat 2 or 3oz. of meat at one sitting. Veggies and fruit aren't as dense and then last carbs being the lightest usually. So, I'd say 6 oz. for a meal is right and a snack would be smaller. I guess I never really thought of it before! LOL I do tend to eat a lot of smaller meals, though. Usually no more than 400 cals. at one sitting. Then two 200 cal. snacks. So, that puts me at 1600 most days. And that's 5 meals. Although if I am really snacky, I will do two 100 cal snacks and then the one 200. In the end, ounces wise, I'd say I do probably stay within that range.

Have you tried chugging water and then chewing gum? Sometimes that helps with the munchies. Or even trying to eat something that has what your wanting. Like, many times I want something crunchy like chips, but instead of eating chips, I eat carrot sticks for the CRUNCH! Not only that, but carrot sticks sorta 'wear my mouth out'. LOL

Yes, but I think sometimes when I diet I place too much importance on the daily weigh in. Without it, however, I can easily balloon. Doing cardio every day is really big for me. I have barely made time for myself all first semester.
