Lunch- pb&j sandwich with a cup of mixed fruit

Snack- apple with cheddar cheese stick

Dinner- 4 oz roast w/ sweet potato and frozen green beans

Snack- 1 banana

Calories Consumed- 1,335

Calories Burned- 1,064

Net Calories- 271

Women’s Workout World

So I went on a tour of W3 today and I liked the place and it’s in the same building as my school do that doesn’t hurt.  They have the basics that I’ll be using and it’s only 24 dollars a month which is affordable for me since all I’m getting right now is money from my school every 6 weeks.  I’m going to work out for the first time on Monday after class.  I do feel I need more variety then just TaeBo and other videos at home.  So will probably work out after school and then the rest of the week do videos I’ll work it out.  I took a deep breath before I walked into the place I always hated feeling like “that fat person” at gyms.  Everybody for the most part was small so there’s going to be that awkwardness but soon I’ll blend in and look like everyone else so it wont even be an issue.

Biggest Loser

I watched Biggest Loser today and realized why I stopped watching the show.  I hate how they vote off people based on how they think they would do at home.  One of the guys gained weight and he stays because they think he wouldn’t lose weight at home on his own.  He’s actually been on the show twice and I believe if he hasn’t gotten it by now he never will.  They all have to go home at some point in time so you can’t use the ranch as a crutch.  I live in a house with my daughter, who loves popsicles, candy, and ice cream.  My dad and his girlfriend who love everything fried and loaded down with salt.  I buy my own food and cook my own food (even though me and my dad’s gf got into it because she wants to do all the cooking but I am not going to gain weight because she has some dumb complex).  I smell all their fried food like the fried fish my dad made one morning and I haven’t had fried fish in forever and I always used to love his as a kid.  I smell that food everyday but I don’t touch it.  Nobody ever said this journey was going to be easy.  I buy my daughter her little junk food and give it to her in moderation but don’t touch it.  And half the time she wants what I’m eating.  I was surprised that she ate her vegetables today along with almost all of her turkey burger.  Well anyway just thought the biggest loser was annoying today but I was glad to see that the girl who was voted off is continuing to lose weight and looks really good.

10/20/09 Exercise

Okay so today started off with my bus being 15 minutes late which translated to me getting to the train 15 minutes late which translates to me getting to my stop 15 minutes late which means I had to turn a 20 minute walk into a 10 minute walk.  I had to power walk and was burning up when I got to school.

There is a Women’s Workout World in the same building that I go to school in.  That’s so awesome.  They’re doing a 0 enrollment fee in October so if I keep my fingers crossed I might be able to join this month.

I am going to find some cardio to do because I need a break from TaeBo I know I’m not ready for the 30 Day Shred (I think Jillian Michaels is possessed by Satan) I’m watching The Biggest Loser at this moment too. I will update later…

Ok I did 10 minutes of TaeBo before I got bored.  I have found a new workout to master Jillian Michaels Banish Fat Boost Metabolism I made it through 20 minutes of the 45 minute workout and I have to say I’m more tired and sweating more than I usually do with TaeBo so my body has gotten used to TaeBo so its time to switch it up.  Jillian Michaels is a beast so I’m definately going to have to work at this one.  I’m not even going to try the shred one yet.

Breakfast- 1 cup of honey crunch & oats w/ 1/2 cup skim milk

Snack- Cup of mixed fruit

Lunch- Leftover meatloaf with 1 cup of corn

Snack- Popcorn (Ate the whole bag while watching People’s Court bad me!)

Dinner- 6 oz Turkey Burger stuffed with green peppers and covered with onions on whole grain whole wheat bread with trace ketchup and mustard

Snack- Two 100 calorie packs

Calories Consumed- 1,855

Calories Burned- 956

Net Calories- 899

Found Some Old Pics

Found some old pictures of me when I was at my highest weight, was very disgusted.  But now that I’ve seen these I do notice the weight I’ve lost.

10/19/09 Exercise

So I finally finished the 45 minute workout which ends up being 42 minutes of exercising and 3 minutes of Billy Talking.  But I finally completed the workout and even listened to him talk just so I could watch the credits roll for the first time, lol.  I am so proud of myself I was just about to quit and Billy said now its time for the cool down, I was like what?

Livestrong.com says I burned 1,651 calories

Lunch- Shake & Bake Pork Chop with brown rice and mixed vegetables

Snack- Fit & active granola bar

Dinner- 4 oz meat loaf with sweet potato & frozen corn

10/18/09 Menu

Breakfast- Whole grain english muffin with smart balance butter spread and a cup of mixed fruit

Snack- Honey crunch & oats cereal with skim milk

Lunch- Homemade pepperoni pizza

Snack- 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks - well they weren’t frozen when I ate them but I decided I’m going to buy frozen fruit

Dinner- (overate on meat again) 8 oz of country style short ribs with 3/4 cup of brown rice with 1.5 cups of frozen mixed vegetables

Dessert- Fit & Active strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich

Calories Consumed- 1,794

Calories Burned- 0 (My day of rest finally)

Net Calories- 1,794

I’m Excited

So I was excited to see my measurements this week.  My hips have not been smaller than 60 inches since high school.  It took a lot of walking and TaeBo (Billy kicked me in my ass that’s how I lost that inch) but I finally did it.  I can tell that I need to start getting smaller bras because they are starting to get loose.  I don’t even wear my 50DD anymore I can forget about those.  I only have one 46DD from when I was in high school and that is the only bra that fits.  My 48DD are too big even though I put them on the 3rd hook.  Buying new bras is going to be a treat though.  I haven’t decided when I’ll get new ones but it’ll probably be when I’m out of the 40’s.  Haven’t worn a 38 since Freshman year of high school that should be interesting.   The tattoo on my breast is shrinking my paw prints went from an adult tiger to a baby cub, lol.  I’m excited to see how I will look the more weight and inches I lose.  I just hope that my butt catches up with everything else it seems like for every 2 inches I lose from my bust and waist I lose just 1 from my hips.  Hopefully losing the inch this week is a sign of things to come and my hips will continue to get smaller.
