Finally Did It!

I am finally saying goodbye to the 400’s (hopefully forever).  I’m saying hello to the 3’s but just for now, I had to peek at the scale today and the scale told me exactly what I wanted that I was 399.  So not only have I left the 400’s behind I met my first goal and have lost 47 pounds.  If I can lose 47 I know I can lose more yay!!!!!!

What I do

For those that are interested in how I am losing weight I will share the info.  When I weighed almost 450 pounds I did the Fat Smash Diet by Dr Ian Smith since at that time I was obsessed with Celebrity Fit Club.  I actually found the first part of the plan hard to stick to and I ended up quitting.  The diet did however help me lose 7 pounds which boosted me a little.  Last year I lost about 20 pounds doing different things none of which I stuck to.  At the beginning of this year I was still lost and trying to figure out what I should do.  I started the year off weighing like 425 and from January to July I only lost 4 pounds.  So July I went to GNC and asked one of the people that worked there what I should do.  She suggested to me GNC Lean Shakes and SlimQuick.  Now I was always one of those people that believed pills and stuff didn’t work mainly because I had tried a lot of them.  But SlimQuick doesn’t make any claims that they’re pills are miraculous they help women’s hormones so we can lose weight.  I started off doing the cleanse which helps clean a lot of junk out of your body and I lost 8 pounds that week.  I have been taking their hoodia capsules before lunch and dinner with a full glass of water and it’s really been helping me to lose weight and not over eat.  I also eat every few hours so my body never has a chance to get hungry.  I also pay careful attention to my sodium intake because the main reason why I wasn’t losing before was too much sodium and my body was retaining water which the pills help with.  I started taking the pills the end of July and as of today I am down 21 pounds.  A few weeks I wasn’t taking the pills and eating right due to various reasons but I come right back and do what I know is right.  I eat 1500-1800 calories a day trying to stay as natural as possible, I want to stay away from processed foods as much as possible.  I give myself 1 treat like a small fudge brownie or a cookie and that’s it.  I feel like this is something I can stick to and even when I cheat I don’t go overboard.  I wanted some fried chicken I ate it and got over my craving.

Haven’t Posted in a While

Well its definitely been a long time since I posted but I have still been eating healthy and exercising.  I have an eye infection in both eyes right now and I let it slow me down for a couple days but I am still exercising and staying focused.  I am 1.8 pounds away from my first mini goal and I am very excited.
