Restart. 2010

I cannot believe it has been this long since I have last posted. My current weight as of June 9th was 178.2 lbs. I am going to weigh and measure myself on the 15th and 30th of each month. I finally caved in and joined LA Fitness about a month ago. Two of my friends decided to join me in the 5am workouts. The goal is to go Monday-Friday warming up with 30 min of cardio followed by strentgh training.  Two more days and week two is completed. This has also made me more conscious on the amount of food I eat.  I will make this work.

Miss Kitten:1, Obesity: 0

Today is November 16 and I seem to be winning in the obesity fight. I weighed myself this morning and I am to say that I have gone down from 186 to 177.  I haven’t even incorporated exercise yet, I have just been eating smaller portions. I did break the no hamburger rule this past saturday but no biggie. That Carl’s Jr Double western burger was worth it. I am motivated now more than ever that I have the power to slim down! :D

start.

Welcome November. The year is almost over and I weigh 186.4. My height is 5 foot 3 and my BMI is 31.4. According to my doctor, I am considered OBESE. I am not offended, truth hurts. I’m 26 years old and as time goes by, it will be harder to lose the pudge. I’m going to take baby steps to reach my ultimate goal of 140lbs. My goal until the end of the year is to be under 180lbs. (baby steps remember?). that way I don’t beat myself up if I happen to stray off the path a bit. I always make excuses why I do not work out: I work full time, go to school full time, have a family and am tired at the end of the day. Enough is enough. I have recently moved into a house that has stairs I need to climb in order to leave the property so I will use that as a form of exercise. Also, I’m going to make minor adjustments such as:
-No more soda.
-No more hamburgers (unless they are made at home)
-No red meat outside the home (this minimizes me pigging out)
-Just drink water at work.

I am excited to start on this journey.
