I need to blog more often. So much of my diet and exercise has become such a standard now that I don’t even think about it half the time, well I do but the same as I would all other things normal in my life. Like changing a poopie diaper, it’s not something you would choose to do if you didn’t have too but it’s part of life (once you become a parent) and you just do it without really thinking about it anymore. That’s how exercise and making better eating choices has become for me. So in turn, I don’t feel I have much to blog about because it’s just daily life.
Anywho, my anniversary was the other day and my husband and I went out to dinner. It was nice, we hadn’t gone out to dinner like that in a long time and it made it special. I think that’s how eating out should be, something special you do for a special occasion, not something you do every week just for the heck of it. It loses something when it becomes common place in my opinion. I still prefer eating at home anyways, I always know who’s touched my food and exactly what’s in it but for that night it was nice.
I just barely made my (revised, blah) exercise minute goal this month. Stupid cold! You know, it’s still hanging on too! I’m still coughing stuff up, my nose is still runny and I still don’t feel 100%. I wish it would just go away already. Sigh. We’ll see how well I did on my pounds lost goal tomorrow when I get my total for Feb. I’m really nervous about tomorrows weigh in, I mean, I’m always nervous about weigh day but being only 2 pounds away from my main goal of 130 means this particular weigh day has the potential to be really really awesome or a let down. I’ve already decided that 130 anything is going to count, meaning I don’t have to be 130.0 to count as making my goal. Even 130.9 will count, I know, it’s pretty much 131 but as long as I see 130 I’m counting it.
Anyways, I just wanted to put in a little update since I haven’t been all that great about blogging as of late. I’ll be back tomorrow with my Feb numbers and my goals for March.
