Well I’ve fallen of the wagon but I guess the good news is that I realized it and have climbed back on!!! I’ve gained a few pounds instead of losing and it’s time to stop sabotaging myself!!
A friend of mine has come up with an 18 week challenge for us and I’m taking her up on it! It seems so much easier when you don’t have to go it alone.

Well I’ve done okay this week. Not the best but most definately not the worst either! I’ve been under-eating instead of over eating during the day and then of course I’m starving by bedtime. I picked up a lunch box at Wal-Mart so hopefully the being away from home won’t be so terrible next week. (crossing fingers)

We are planning on bbqing today and hanging by the pool. FUN!! Gonna make up some turkey burgers and sausage and chicken. Maybe some hot dogs too. 

My daughter found an aboandoned baby kitten, possibly 3 weeks old that we I have been bottle feeding..oh joy.  She is so cute and soft and sadly I don’t wanna keep her. We have 3 cats already…and 2 dogs…and various fish. UGH. At the same time I hate to disappoint the kid. She’s already named it and everything. Geez.

I’m not going to post my food before hand today because I’m not gonna worry about it. We will be snacking and eating off and on all day with the BBQ and family visiting so I will just try and keep it under control…and if not…it won’t be the end of the world.

I joined sparkpeople.com a while back and will be starting a Sweatsuit to Swimsuit challenge on Sunday. FUN!! I’m needing a new challenge to get me back moving and eating right!

Feeling great

Although my food yesterday wasn’t that wonderful I’m feeling great today! I’ve already had breakfast and I’m about to head out for my run/walk. I didn’t over eat, I UNDER ate. Skipping meals and all because I wasn’t hungry and was away from home part of the day. I think I may need to invest in a lunch box.

TOM has finally left the building..See ya! lol All the bloating should soon follow. It’s amazing how I can gain almost 5 pounds and lose it all in a matter of a day after TOM is gone. WATER WATER WATER…drink plenty of it!!!  Some days I feel like I’m turning into a fish but it’s all worth it.

Today I am working on addressing 199 invitations. Yeah I messed up on one!  Eek! It’s all good though! Something to do rather than sitting on my fluffy ass doing nothing at all! Well, I’m headed for a walk/run and then working on those addresses!! Have a great day!

Ugh. I wanna go back to sleep!! I am not getting enough sleep apparently since that’s all I wanna do!!  Going to bed early tonight for sure. It’s been a long weekend and glad it’s over and kids are back to school. There are 20 days left of school and I haven’t decided if I’m excited or scared!! LOL On the one hand I won’t have to wake up super early and drive kids to school. On the flip side though the kids will be home and waking me up with demands all day.  Hmmm.

I spent Saturday morning with Amber and the rest of the day with family at a fish fry. Yup that’s right ALL FRIED FOOD! Except for the cole slaw I brought. lol Needless to say my Saturday food wasn’t so great but it’s all good.  Got in a lot of exercise this weekend working on our pool to get it ready for swimming. Burn baby burn! (calories I mean..lol)

hehe wii-ner! Get it?!?! I crack myself up!! So last night I was too  busy to blog because I was playing the Wii and kicking some ass! Sometimes the Wii Sports games are more of a workout than the Wii Fit games. Today my shoulders are sore from the boxing matches. I also learned that tennis and baseball aren’t my best bets. I suck! No coordination at all for those!! But I had a blast kicking the kids and the hubby’s butts in boxing! Not sure how many clories I burned but it was great fun.

I stayed on plan yesterday and had a good walk at the camground near my house. Nearly 3 miles in before I had to go cook dinner. I helped get all the invitations printed for my cousins wedding in June. UGH I still have to help get them all (200) addressed!!! Eek!

Well I’m off to wait for the dish network guy to come bring me some tv to watch!!

Well I think I did pretty damn good today if I may say so myself!! LOL Temptation was everywhere! I did really good and passed it up. I’ve noticed that I will eat things that are terrible while I’m telling myself it’s bad for me. And I don’t even want it…not really.  So why the hell do we just keep on stuffing our faces?? Geez! Someone please just bonk me on the head now!!

I’ve decided to use the mantra “IT’S NOT AN OPTION!!” It’s worked all day, even when I wanted to stop working out. It’s not an option to stop just because I’m a little tired and want a nap. It’s not an option to raid the fridge just because I have nothing better to do.

I feel empowered today! And it feels GREAT!

Weigh in was today…Need I really say more?? I have gained back some of the weight that I had previously lost. And it just pisses me off!! And its all my own fault. So here I am kicking my own ass back into gear!!  Back to running everyday and eating healthy foods. I’ve been eating not so healthy foods in much smaller portions and let me tell you it’s not working for me. What I thought was pretty good is NOT good at all. I don’t want to keep losing the same weight over and over. I’m taking back my life today!!!

Food for today:

D:1 stuffed green bell pepper with ground beef, brown rice, velveta cheese, salt and pepper , tossed side salad with basalmic vinegrette salad spritzer

What a week!

We had a pretty good time on vacation. I DID NOT get into the bathing suit. Was just too self consious to do it, so I chickened out and returned the damn thing. LOL Oh well. We did have fun and so did the kids. We went to the Children’s Discovery Center and all of us had a blast there. I have pics! We spent some time at the pool where I caught up on my reading and some time on the beach where I got to people watch. FUN FUN!  We walked the beach and boardwalk one evening as the sun was setting and it was so beautiful! When we got home we got a call that my aunt had passed away and everything has been a whirlwind since. Visiting family and such has been an everyday thing here. Services are on Monday morning with burial that afternoon. Food was really good on our trip even though we ate at the hotel buffet most of the time. I would have to say that my down fall was the hotels Starbucks!! White Chocolate Mocha!! 2x a day!  Geez they were awesome! By the time we left they knew my name…lol. What can I say I’m loyal…giggle. Here’s some pics from our mini-vacation. They are all from the discovery center and a few from the beach since my camera died on me. ENJOY!

Well I’ve been busy the last few days getting ready for the “bunny”  and a last minute idea to go to the beach for a few days. UGH. I feel too fat to be laying by a pool or on the beach.  And of course then there’s the shopping for clothes to wear on said trip. Geez it’s 2 days. So, I decided to put my big girl panties on and suck it up and shut up. LOL And I feel somewhat better. No amount of feeling too big for a bathing suit or complaining to myself or looking in the mirror is going to make me thin before Monday morning… so screw it! I’m going to be happy and drink my little umbrella drinks by the pool in my shorts and tank top with my extremely white legs and just be happy I’m not sitting home bored! ( at least thats what I keep telling myself)

Food has been pretty good considering the amount of stress I’ve put myself through  the last few days. No Easter basket or candy for me. The kids were a little dissapointed that they didn’t recieve quite as much as last year but they seemed to get over it pretty fast. We had a blast dying eggs last night. Got coloring everywhere and I didn’t mind…too much. Here’s the result!

I am SUCH a baby! LOL I went in for my eye appt. today and got corrective contacts for a really bad stigmatism in my left eye. They ever diluted my eyes…oh joy. It was a first for me…and I was such a boob about it..giggles. But I couldn’t see anything like all day.

So I didn’t get my run in at all but I did get in a 30 minute walk on the treadmill. Food was good all day untill Hayley (DD14) and I were sitting home after dinner and got the munchies. We ended up at Sonic for Java Chillers. YUMM!!!!!! Then I spilled all the sticky goodness in my new car!! Again I was such a baby about it…lol But I mean come on…it’s my NEW car. Ok Ok technically it’s not new anymore considering I got it brand new LAST June..but whatever. It’s MY new car… so I can call it what I want. Blah!

So I have now seen Twilight for the 5th time as of today. Anyone else seen it so many fun loving times?? It really is a great movie and I’m looking forward to New Moon in November. Amber and I have already made plans to go see it. EXCITED!! I’m so hot for the vamps..lol I’ve no shame…

Spring break has officially begun here and and the kids are out of school for the next week..woot! Sleeping late all week!!! And by late I only mean past 6am..I can NEVER seem to sleep past 7 am…what’s up with that?? Geez.
