Tues 11/10

I am really tired and out of sorts today. Had a major fight with my husb (blah, blah, blah) so had trouble sleeping.

After going to sleep late, I woke up at 4:30am with my lower back hurting again…always the same spot. Carrying my lovely HUGE baby killed my already bad back and I still have pain and sciatica to this day. I think all the ab and core exercises are aggrivating it but I am hoping to get over the hump to where my abs are strong enough to HELP with my back probs.

4:30am (while watching Good Day Sacramento…who the fuck is normally up to watch news that early, come on!) serving of yoplait light yogurt and tortilla chips that I did not count and made the mistake of eating out of the bag vs. in a bowl.

able to get some more sleep 5:30- 8:30. Thankfully my first appt was not until 11:30 in Lincoln today!

11am: apple, white tea energy drink

1pm: 1 slice honey whole wheat bread, 4 salami, 1 slice sharp cheddar; carrots

3pm: Wendy’s side salad w/ light ranch & handful of pita chips

4:30pm pear

6pm: 8oz of V8 fusion drink

7pm: (my hubby usually makes dinner for when I get home but did not today…btw…we made up for now…so had to bite the bullet and do fast food) In & Out!!!! plain cheeseburger w/ extra tomato; 15 french fries; 1/2 choc shake

9pm: prior to blogging I suffered through 1c of overcooked green beans…conveniently forgot I was cooking them.

1 more day of veggies!

9am: Go lean Crunch cereal w/ lowfat milk; green tea w/ tbs honey

11:30am: pear, handful of pita chips

2pm: Bel Air chicken fajita salad loaded w/ tomatos and peppers, handful of pita chips, Honest Tea (pomegrante & white tea)

5pm: carrots

6pm: chicken, chicken stuffing (1/4 c), 1/2 c brown rice, V8 fusion pomegrante juice (8oz)

BOOTCAMP!

9:15pm carrots & green beans

phew I made it! 5 servings of veggies is really hard for me! It’s a lovely goal but I’ll be glad when this challenge is over :)

1ish: thin pretzels

3pm: (lost track of time cleaning house) large salad w/ romaine & spinach, tomato, red peppers, endaname crackers & raspberry walnut vineragerette & tomato basil hummus w/ endaname crackers

6:30pm: subway sandwich loaded w/ bell peppers and tomato…oven roasted chicken on 9 grain honey wheat w/ honey mustard and cheese

9:30pm: my subway choc chip cookie; hummus & endaname crackers

12:45pm: (picnic with my Rae Rae) 1 slice honey wheat bread w/ 4 salami, 1 slice sharp cheddar; pear; carrots

2:30pm: 8oz of V8 fusion; tomato basil hummus and endaname crackers

6:30pm: TJ turkey pesto burger (wasn’t very good) on 1/2 whole wheat pita; green beans

9pm: carrots dipped in light ranch

Unfortunately I didn’t write down what I ate as I ate it because I have a terrible memory, so this is the best I could do…

9:30am (sick kid, slept late) Go Lean Crunch cereal w/ lowfat milk, green tea w/ tbs honey

11:30am: 2 egg whites w/ spinach, green beans, tomato & mozz cheese

2pm: whole wheat crackers w/ sharp cheddar cheese & carrots

6:30pm: French Dip sandwich; cooked carrots & green beans

**I’m sure I had some Halloween candy in there but I haven’t been writing those down. oops. At least I got my 5 servings of veggies in!

I can’t believe I did it! I have been hitting my 5 servings of veggies a day! Never thought I’d do it. Unfortunately I forgot the week started on Weds so I have to do it everyday, ugh! My IBS is not very happy with me though. Veggies are a trigger for me so I definately am in the bathroom a lot…and very gassy…sorry, had to put it. LMAO.

8:30am: Go Lean Crunch Bar, green tea

10:15am: (work meeting) banana, mini bag o reeses pieces, mini Take 5 bar

1pm: TJ chicken veggie fiesta salad; Babybel light; thin pretzels

3pm: thin pretzels

6pm: grilled chicken, mediterranean salad, sourdough bread

10pm: cooked carrots & green beans; rice pudding

Weds 11/4

35min cardio, 10min abs, 10 min stretch

10am: green tea w/ stevia

11am: apple

12:30pm: 1/2c TJ wine country chicken salad on 1/2 ww pita, 5 baby carrots, thin pretzels

2:45pm: bag of Cheez Its out of vending machine (430cal); diet Pepsi

4pm: 1c. rice pudding

6pm: gnocci, salad w/ carrots, celery, raspberry walnut vinergarette; 1/2 piece honey wheat bread; 1/2 dark choc bar (50cal)

10pm: 1 slice cheddar, 4 pieces salami, 8 wheat crackers, 10 pita chips, 1/4c tomato basil hummus

***it has been a stressful day as the marital problems are escalating, so what do I do…binge. Disgusting!

Tues 11/3

12pm: Subway oven roasted chicken with honey mustard, swiss cheese, green peppers, tomato; Baked southwest ranch chips; Arnold Palmer w/ light lemonade & unsweetened green tea

4pm: 1c. homemade pumpkin seeds

6pm: hamburger on whole wheat bun w/ mozz cheese, guac, tomato, ketchup & 20 store bought french fries

Friday 10/30

I was bad and didn’t write everything down. From what I remember I had…

9am: 2 egg whites

???? then I don’t know from there

I went on a 30 min jog/walk while kiddo was in preschool

Then went to Bunco. Had fun (but was more tired then I expected) drank 3 alcoholic drinks, had yummy butternut squash soup, 2 small grilled cheeses (one on rye) & salad

 

Then the downfall continues…

Halloween Sat. 10/31

approx 9am: raisin bran w/ lowfat milk & green tea

12:00 ground turkey & butternut squash sprinkled w brown sugar

no snack, no exercise

6pm: 2 hard shell tacos w/ salsa marinated chicken, cheese, tomato, & guac + spanish rice (rice a roni…very unclean) & chips

Trick or treating!!!…. my total for the night= 1 fun size snickers, 1 fun size heath, 1 caramel

That’s pretty good for me.

 

Sun 11/1

woke up in pain, my back from pulling kids in a wagon…4am: granola cereal w/ lowfat milk.

9:30am: 2 egg whites w/ tomato, guac, & mozz cheese. green tea

40 min bike ride with an extra 32lbs.

12:30pm: 1 soft taco w/ chicken, mozz cheese, spanish rice, guac

5pm @ Disney on Ice Princess Classics…yep I did it…stadium nachos & cheese w/ lemonade

7pm: 1 large slice of Chicago Fire deep dish pepperoni pizza, 6 baby carrots, 3 celery sticks w/ ranch

 

***so yes I have been slipping. I need to get my rear in gear! I think I gave myself too much leeway when I realized I had lost 6lbs in 2 weeks. I’m sure I’ve gain most, if not all of it back. I am so mad at myself. I keep falling into the trap of fatigue, stress and the fact that my family eat very differently then what I am hoping to do. It’s hard to effect change when you are not the one doing the shopping or cooking. It’s a work in progress. Working out is another issue. When to find the time? There always seems to be something else that needs to be done so I feel guilty taking the time away to go to the gym or go for a walk. Another work in progress.

Off to bootcamp…
