Home again wiht a sick DD. She is a bit better today. I am dong random puttering between cuddles. Have turkey soup brewing.
It went down to -1C/30F this morning. it is +2C/35.6F right now.
I pruned a bush 
. made DD and I brunch, planned a halloween party. l cleaned the cat area.
I emptied out a tub of stuff i have been moving around with me since i was 17. I tossed more than 1/2. I also threw out my year books. It was time full of bad memories and the year books gave me a stomach and heart ache. I have been saying for a year i was going to burn them.Tossing them suffices.
My MIL is playing games over Christmas. we have it in Nov because they go south for 5 months. She has been trying to cancel it completely for years. it seems so cold hearted. My dSIL is very upset. There is a family, friends, with teen kids who call my in laws Gramma and Grampa, My in laws are hosting them for Xmas but will not have there own blood relatives. Soooooo odd.
Had a turkey sammy for brunch, and a peach.
Wow, you had a very productive day. I’m impressed by the cleaning out of old stuff - I SO need to do that.
I need to clean out body clutter more but ti is all part of the journey.
Just this Thanksgiving , first time ever, we just stayed home. It was very nice.I like the Christmas family traditions and getting together with both sides. DH’s folks have been going south for 5-6 years, so we see them in Nov. My family on Christmas Day. Now that Grandma is gone my Dad said last year he has no reason to be here for the hols. I was devastated but held it together. Um…he has 2 adoring daughters and 3 grand kids. My Sis is talking about going South for Christmas because they have a week off.
It’s all new . For 44 years for me and 67 for my Dad we have always be together at Christmas. This makes me weep.
