This leaves most of the house work for Monday.

Food has been so random this week. Not necessarily bad and in large quantities.Just random.

I have been suffering terribly with allergies and a severe headache that lasted 4 days. DS was too. I started him on  antihistamines and he improved. Poor little man has the same allergies as me. Last season I wondered cause he was touchy  sorty snotty. This year there is no question. His eyes were swollen shut  along with everything else. Poor kid is wired just like me and my Dad and Grandma.Of course, that also means he has a heart of gold and is brilliant LOL :0

I was going to a 50th bday yesterday but the friend I was driving with was sick when I got there and then I headed out alone and it thunderstormed and hailed so I turned around and came home.

Gardening today

hmmmmm, this week fly by.Very steady busy at work. didn’t do my books bvut i must have made some money.

Ds is at a sleepover, DD is across the road righ tnow. DH is home. He sandsed drywall today and torned over the veggie garden. I wa ssupposed ot go to a 50th Bday garden party but the person I was going with is sick. I headed out by mysef ans then the skies opened up and it hailed so I came home.Made a hot chgicken sandwich from left overs. Just sitting here comtemplating the evening right now.

Today has been a not bad day.Lots of fun with the kids. Work was good, got a few things done around here.Food was alright.

Well , A day off work and kids are in school for 7 hours!!!

Much to do, laundry, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, paper tiger to tame, pics to send off,grass to cut and garden work if there is time. DD has her last day of Brownies. I will make veggies and dip for the party.

Need to get the kids ready to launch shortly.

I got my hair cut last Thurs, Very funky razor cut. Still getting used to it.

I am going to weigh in today. It’s been 2 weeks. I was super busy and had a wretched super bloated period and was not feeling focused at all.

Just weighed in. I am  down 7.8 lbs total. I gained 3-4 lbs back so I am happy to be down.

Need to feed the kidlets breaky. More later. Hugs!!!

Such a wonderful day!!!!  and week.
We had recieved a $1000 grant from a big company to put a garden in at the school. The kids drew blue prints and wrote stories. They decided on a Peace Garden. We put the idea out to the community and tons of people offered plants, materials labour soil, exacavating……. we hardly used the grant money. So were able to but picnic tables and make a patio stone checker board.I have been at the school every eveving this week while the excavating,deliveries and post holes were dug. Dh, Ds and DD dug holes for the arbour last night.
Today we had a ribbon cutting assembly. each class has a garden plot and planted today.We have volunteers to water for the summer. It is soooooo beautiful. I will post some pics later this weekend.

Sunday School bowling party is tonight at 7. i popped a stuffed pork tenderloin into the oven.

I am pooped but a very happy tired.

I have made a decent dent is all the To Do’s. i am suffering with allergies in a majoe way. Mostly ignoring them and taking meds. I am tired tho.

I have a new-ish neighbour. The girlfriend/partner of the guy next door has moved in. He/they gutted the entire house starting about a year ago. SHe owned a home in the city that she has rented. They been together 8 years. He daughter was separating and has 2 young kids so the Neighbours girlfriend moved back to the city into her home to help her daughter out for a year while neighbour reno-ed. The moving truck was there yesterday so I went over. Her daughter is in a great space and on her own. The house in the city is sold and the house here, the main floor, is almost done. It is sure looks beautiful! This couple are a few years older than me. The younger brother of the guy and I went to grade 13 together a loooong time ago. It will be nice to have a female neighbour. The guy across the road is a single dad too.

It has rained steady since 4 pm yesterday. Thunderstorms during the night.
No yard work for me today. Looks like spindle painting time.

Kids are launched. DH has returned. Too much rain to work.

-new tent( ours is literally falling apart and cant be mended any more)YES!!!!!! picked up 2 tents for $29.99 each. Kids love them!

I am way lethargic. A little pms-y and bad allergy day.
Picked up pork chops for DH to BBQ when he gets home.I will do potatoes and corn.I do have dishes to do but may wait til after supper.
What I would like to do is enjoy a large platter of good European cheeses and crackers and breads, snuggle with a blanket and read a book until Idol is on and after Idol read some more.

I resited eating cheese and crackers last night, so, did not eat after supper.

Worked this morning and then went to do a friends colour and she waxed my face.( same genes that will mean I will probably live a very long life come with facial hair)

Ah yes!! Tents are up. DS helped me with DD’s , she watched and then he put his own up himself.
DD has a blanket and some stuffies in hers.Ds is planning where to keep his nerf ammo.They want to sleep out Sunday night. It went down to 0C/32F last night. eeeks!

DD’s eye is all better.

She does have asthma. Her left lung is wheezy. She now has a puffer to use at bedtime every day and as need. She coughs the most at night.

I am resting a bit. DW is running. DS has a friend over , all are playing in the basement.
Had payroll today but was not busy for the aft so I left early and took the kids to a Mother’s Day family event. It has been thunder storming here and then it cleared for a couple of hours and then while we were there the temps suddenly dropped 10 degrees and the wind picked up and brrrrrrrrr…we came home. J
Taco’s for supper. DH has ALL the drywall up around the new stairs and the diningroom and entrance way. What a difference. He went to a friends for the evening.

I may have stirred up a bit of trouble within a biz course group I am a part of. It is a course i took in the fall and then we have been in a group of 4 women since. It is about mentoring each other in our goals and also accountability. It is part based on concepts of Napoleon Hill. It has been monumentally meaningful but recently one member has been missing our weekly conference calls, not doing home work etc. Part of the course is living in awareness and thinking in terms of “How am I showing up?” It is about integrity, commitment……
So I sent a group email( which is how we always communicate) asking other to take time reassess , bring concerns to the table etc. i expressed my concerns. I have not heard back for 2. I did reply with similar feedback. I am not worried about it but sad about potential changes and I do believe the one woman will be/is  hurt. I am also curious to see how everyone handles this. There are very clear guidelines in this course about communication and commitment.

I need to paint spindles. The drywall is looking beautiful. some of these wall have been open top 2×4’s for 7 years. I am mildly dreading the madding and sanding. That dust goes every where. But thankful over rules the dread every time!!!!

OH!!! I had my Grandma’s wedding ring restored and sized to fit me. I am wearing it right now. I can not describe how joyful this makes me feel.
