Day 51

Great, I work for 19 days straight and get sick from it. Darn it!. <shaking fist into the air>. Anyway, the cold medicine is definitely helping and not helping at the same time. IT keeps my nose from running, but my head feels like it is in a vice and my hearing really sucks. Plus the medicine keeps me from wanting to eat anything. So, I’m having a hard time trying to get any food in my stomach. At least I managed to eat lunch today and traded food for lots of liquids. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Here’s what I kinda ate today.

Breakfast: 3 cups of water

Lunch: 3oz cheese, 1 cup of salad, 1 orange

Dinner: 4 cups of water.

Day 50

Today, I find out I get the next 2 days off. I couldn’t come any sooner. I feel like going to bed right now, but I need to stay awake to finish the rest of my shift. 19 days in a row of work. I do not want to do that again. Here’s what I ate today.

Breakfast: 2oz cheese, 1oz farmers peanuts, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Snack: 1 protein bar, 1 protein drink

Lunch: 6oz chicken, 1 cup of salad, 1 apple, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Snack: 1oz cheese, 1 protein drink

Dinner: 3oz cheese, 1 cup of salad, 1 serving of Melba Toast, 2fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Day 49

Finally got off work early for once. I’m going to enjoy up to 11 hours of sleep tonight. Anyway, I’ve been real busy living at work. To think, I’m not exaggerating. I got one of those jobs where if you need extra money, getting overtime is a an hour or two here and maybe an hour or two the week after. Instead, my job was practically unlimited overtime. I worked the last 18 days in a row. Yes 18 days! I went broke in January when I bought my car and now I’ve made all of the money back in less than 2 months. Oh! I really have been keeping track of my food as much as I could. I’m surprised I’m not sick and tired of eating the same thing yet. huh.

I’m still proud of the fact that I still managed to lose weight throughout the time I spent working. I haven’t done any exercising for the past 2 weeks. This will cause me to re-evaluate my exercise plans and adjust them accordingly. Hopefully it won’t seem like its starting over. Also, I got more diet stuff. I’m trying out protein candy bars and cookies to mix things up some because eggs, cheese and chicken are getting old. I’m also going to be looking into checking diet friendly recipes on 3fc also. maybe I can find some favorites in it. Below is what foods I could keep track of.

Day ??

I am really tired right now and didn’t keep track of what day it is. That’s because of all the extra work I’ve been doing lately. It got real busy at my job and I’m working close to 16 hours a day. I’ve been writing down what I’ve been eating so I can keep track of things. I’ll post all that later when I have the time. For now, I just want to check in to let people know that I didn’t give up the diet. I haven’t done any exercise for over a week now, but I’m still losing weight. I believe it’s thanks to all of the protein I’ve been eating and drinking, so it’s not as bad as it seems. Can’t wait to get back to my routine, I’m starting to feel lazy again, like wanting to take naps in the middle of the day again. I still got a lot of long work shifts ahead of me, so I going to bed now. Oh, I’ll keep track of what I’m eating still so there will be a post for all of it to get caught up.

Day 38

Too busy to get into details, so here’s what I plan to eat today. Gotta get back to work!

Breakfast: 4oz chicken, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Lunch: 6oz ground beef, 1 cup of lettuce,cilantro, and green onions, 1 orange, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Snack: 1oz cheddar cheese, 1 protein drink

Dinner: 6oz cottage cheese, 1 cup of lettuce, 1 serving of cilantro, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Day 37

Wow, what a last couple of days it was. It’s going to be a busy next couple of weeks at work for me. Now that I’ve had a couple hours to get some sleep, I can now get caught up on this. First, Here’s what I ate yesterday.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 serving of Melba Toast, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Lunch: 3oz cheddar cheese, 1 cup of cauliflower, 1 orange, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Dinner: 6oz chicken, 1 cup of salad, 1 serving Melba Toast, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Today is not over, but I am happy to report that I got over 10 lbs lost so far. Woot! I took a little over a month, but hey, I made my first goal. now to get to 20lbs lost by March. Heres what I ate and plan to eat later today.

Day 35

Started my day off with some drama. Woot. I boiled a bunch of eggs yesterday for turn into something, but I had to eat them plain boiled because my car thought it was too cold to want to start today, After 30 minutes of trying, it finally remembered I had to go to work today. This meant I had to make up my breakfast and lunch really quick.  I was tired from my workout for the rest of the day and I figured might as well keep a theme going. My dinner was left overs as well. I must admit that 2 hard boiled eggs and a cup of broccoli was actually more filling than I thought. I guess I should be thankful for today happening. , So, here’s what I ate today.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 slice of 45 calorie wheat toast, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Snack: 1 oz cheese, 1 protein drink, 1 protein drink

Lunch: 2 eggs, 1 cup of broccoli, 1 apple, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Dinner: 6oz chicken, broccoli, 1 serving of Melba Toast, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Day 34

Sweet, I got to chill out a little early today. I think I’m going to stop doing salad for a little bit to get some variety in my meals. I’m not getting tired of it, especially it saves me quite a bit of money when compared to how much other people spend on those salad bowls from their grocery store. I got a friend who spend close to $5 a day on a salad bowl. I spend about $10 for 2 weeks worth of salad. That is a huge difference. Wait, I got off topic. Anyway, I’m gonna try different ways to have veggies prepared, like steamed to change things up. Tonight’s dinner was actually pretty, It’s what led me to change my veggie intake. Here’s what I ate today.

Breakfast: 6oz cottage cheese, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Snack: 1oz cheddar cheese, 1 protein drink

Lunch: 6oz chicken, 1 cup of salad, 4 strawberries, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Dinner: Taco salad - [4oz ground beef, 2oz cheese, 1 cup of lettuce, tomato, and green onions, 1 tortilla (baked into chips)], 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Day 33

Well, today’s workout felt a little too challenging. It took awhile for the soreness to go away. I’ve been getting tired more easily again. I’m going to have to think of something to change things up to keep things from going stale and boring. Here’s what I ate today.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 slice of 45 calorie wheat bread, 2 fish oil pills, 1 protein drink

Woke up way before my alarm this morning and yet, I didn’t seem as tired as the day went on. Weird. Anyway here’s what I ate today.
