Winter Again
Snowing once more…after our week of reprive. Supposed to be bitter cold the next few days. It’s been very quiet at home as Rachel is in NYC earning some pocket money before school starts on the 28th. She and Paul may try singing some of their original music in the subways. In the meantime they are handing out fliers for a fitness facility. She sounds happy. Have been trying to help Sarah (the engaged DD) find a place for the wedding in NC. So far nada….they are looking for a June 7th date and things are pretty booked.
I’ve been pretty content these days. Almost hate to say it out loud. The retirement date gets closer by the day and I feel myself getting more and more excited. Also, Len and I are going on vacation at the end of next week…driving to Florida..(I know, I know…the car is not our best venue…hope we are still speaking to each other after 18 hours in a car.)
Hanging in there with sensible eating and exercise. Logged 330 minutes last week and lost a pound of the holiday excess so far.
