I’m still around
One week from today is my oldest DD’s wedding in Greesnboro. I’m busy getting last mintue things, ( a necklace, shoes for my other DD, vases at Goodwill for flowers, strings of white lights etc.) Also got my hair cut twice in the past 3 weeks. We leave for NC on Tuesday. My weight is horrid…up about 10 pounds from last year at this time. After the wedding I plan to join the local fitness center and track my foods again.
We dropped our youngest DD in NYC two weeks ago. She planned to stay with her BF and look for a job there for the summer. Well, as of last night, she’s coming home after the wedding. They decided (or more accurately HE decided, he wasn’t ready for living togther right now. I’m actually a bit relieved - as I think they are way too much alike - both very theatrical, volitile and pretty wrapped up with their own issues right now. I’d just as soon have her home this summer…even if she may be a bit depressed for a while.
I joined a group to get a local farmer’s market started in our village. We have about 15 interested vendors, and a place behind the local McDonald’s, and now we need to get permissions from the village board. Have also been planting morning glories, tomatos, and dahlias. Still not bored and hardly ever think of work.

Wow Lyn…all good stuff. Goodness, so you’re daughter’s wedding is here already. How exciting. I don’t know your other daughter, but I think I would feel the same way about having her home for the summer. It sounds like she and her boyfriend are being sensible - however painful that may feel right now - but you know that.
Kudos, too on the farmers market group. I am feeling envy!
