Busy Times
This is a view of our church from the creek bank. I’m taking a photoshop class and am thinking of making a few good prints of one of the many views I took last Sunday for a fund raiser for our church organ. I also took a Wedding Portrait photo class last week and pretty much decided i do not want to be a wedding photographer. The two instructors were fantastic, and we got to photograph a couple of models, but it really is a stressful job. I learned a whole lot about lighting, posing etc so it turned out to be a valuable class.
The Curves sessions are enjoyable and really do go quickly. This week I was the Biggest Loser at TOPS, so I am encouraged. Today is my DH’s last day for his temporary position so we will be home together now. I’ll let you know how that goes!
My daughter’s wedding is only a month away now. I’m getting excited. Got my dress, shoes etc. and everything seems to be in order. My younger DD will be finished with classes next week and then we are taking her down to NYC where she will try to find a job for the summer. She and her BF will share an apartment. I figure this will make or break the relationship.
Time for lunch.

I looked into Curves yesterday but there is not one near me in Paris… it’s a shame, I always thought that could be a good program for me. But the key for me w a gym is being able to get to one easily…

Beautiful church - it reminds me of St. Katherine’s in Uitenhage (the stone work, the red door). I think that taking those photography clases is wonderful. You’ll be taking a few shots at your daughter’s wedding, I’m sure! Congratulations on being the biggest loser at tops. Curves is a great concept. There are two right near where I live - should look into it.
