Post-Easter

I also posted this photo for my 3fatchicks Golden girls posts. At least it makes me feel a bit more like spring will actually arrive soon. Easter was cold – sunny- but cold. Our little 12-voice choir sang the Halleluiah Chorus from the Messiah – only 4 sopranos and 2 altos and 1 lone tenor. The basses sort of rumbled along. The congregation applauded, but maybe they were glad those high s As and G’s were over. Then my DH and I walked about 3 miles in the COLD to get Easter candy for my friend’s grandkids. She invited us over for dinner….she has 5 grandkids ages 1,3,4,7, and 9…it was wild. I ate too much, and am not looking forward to my TOPs weigh-in tonight. Only 4 more days!! This is my last Monday!!

Beautiful pic!!! You cannot possibly have lilacs blooming already!!! Bet the chior sounded great. Good on you for going out in the cold; it was more than I did.
