Fickle March
Yesterday it got up to 65 degrees. Of course I was inside at work all day, but the walk to the car and drive home (with the window partway down) was super. Now it’s back to 30 degees and freezing rain.
On the eating/exercise front…I walked a bit over the weekend, but also ate too damn much. I gained a pound at Monday night weigh-in. Just got back from the gym and feel good agian. I didn’t want to go at all, but made myself. (Good for me). Had a turkey wrap for lunch - dinner is unplanned right now. My DH is home sick. He went in yesterday for day one of his part-time position and then came home to the Dr. who put him on antibiotic. He was sick all weekend.
My DD’s play was GREAT. I am so proud of her. We will be going to see it again this Saturday with her BF and aunt (who are driving up together from NYC).
Oh, I won an election last night. I ran for the position of leader of our TOPs chapter (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). I won and my good friend here (Carol) got Co-Leader. I hope to increase our membership which has dropped from a high of about 30 to only about 15 regular members. I also hope being in the position will help keep me motivated.
Back to work….18 more days.

Wow, congratulations! Wish there was a group like that near me. How does it get started, or is that a dumb question?
