Beyond the Looking Glass

Yup, another year older for me today.  I came into work to a great big chocolate chip cookie cake from my co-workers.  Nice, but oohh those calories.  So I’m on a sugar high right now.  I came downstairs this am to a small package from my DH…my favorite purfume, (Which I had been out of for a bout 6 mos now).  So I also smell pretty good this am.  Still cold as blazes outside.  Saw the lunar eclipse last night and contemplated my existance in the large scheme of things.  Gee the weight loss quest seems so insignificant in view of the universe.

I’ve also re-started my research into my ansestry.  I may splurge and get myself one of those computer programs to document my findings.  I ordered two flowering plants on-line too.  They will brighten up our plant window in the dining room.  I’ll take a photo when they come in.

So another day and another year older.  Thanks be to God!
