Ok, so far so good
Yesterday was sucessful. I did work out for an hour, I ate sensibly and stayed on track. (I am patting myself on the back right now.) One day down, and into the next. Tonite I go to Friday night services with my DH and there are treats afterwards. I WILL steer myself towards the fruit. No M&Ms, nuts, sweet rolls. Maybe ONE cookie. Exercise today will be 1 hour of walking or glider in the gym.
Tomorrow our HS football team is going for the semi-finals in the WNY state competition. We haven’t made it to a game yet, so we plan to go and cheer them on. It will be VERY cold…high of only 38. Brrrrr.
Then my DH is driving down to LI to see is brother and sister and I will be on my own for meals for about 3 days. This should make sticking to my healthy eating easier. I’ve been cutting our healthy soup recipes.
At work there is a “Stay fit for the Holidays” program staring next week. You exercise at least 30 minutes every day and make healthy choices during the next month or so. I signed up so that should help too. Somehow they are going to have us track our progress daily on-line. Me with my love of charts and graphs should be into this. So that’s the plan. I’m psyched.

You Go Baby! That “Stay Fit for the Holidays” sounds so fabulous. Don’t freeze your buns off tonight - dritta
I agree, Stay Fit for the Holidays is a great idea! Glad you’re signing up.
38 degrees? BRRRRRRRR….and you WANT to go out in this?????
C’mon on 5lbs–we can do this!!!
I’m still trying to get myself into the “stay fit for the holidays” mode. Gotta stop these “visions of sugar plums” from dancing in my head, I guess! I am ENVYING you your three day respite from domesticity! We may love our DH’s, but I don’t know any of us (married) women who don’t cherish a little time alone with only ourselves to be responsible for. Enjoy!
Very good plan - stay fit for holidays! I think I should also track my daily weight and food using a spreadsheet.
Wish you all the very best,
iniya
Does sound like a good plan - our office is doing something along the same lines. They doled out pedometers. Good for you for getting back into the zone!

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog. You all make me feel so much better.
Today was a loss, but it’s not important. I’ve just been sitting around not getting anything done, but maybe tomorrow. I haven’t gotten anything done today, but what can I say? Shrug. I don’t care.
