Gettin Motivated
OK. I think I’m motivated enought to write now. Haven’t felt much like writing, exercising, eating healthy etc since this whole cold Novemeber weather started last week. Also, the time change has had an effect on me. I feel like hibernating when I get home from work. It’s dark!!
I’m going to give myself a bit of a break from tracking my food and points for a couple of weeks. I still plan to choose healthy things for main meals - and will keep a rough idea of my caloric intake. I just need the freedom to be a little less disciplined right now.
My oldest DD, Sarah, is coming north (from NC) for the weekend and I’m so looking forward to it. I haven’t seen her since spring! She’s coming to see my DH in his performance of “Pirates of Penzance” and to help celebrate Rachel’s (my othe DD) birthday. Sarah and rachel are very different from each other. Sarah is reserved, responsible, and organized. Rachel is artistic, emotional, and absent-midned. I love each of them to death, but am in wonder that they can be so different. Both are beautiful young women and, yes, I am very proud to be their mom.

sometimes it’s easier to get back into the swing of things by being less rigid, so I think it’s a good thing you’re going to take a break from points and tracking your food.
I’m starting (again) and my number one goal is to do this low-stress this time. For me that means no scale for a few weeks. I know the behaviors I need to create, I’m working on them one at a time. In time the scale will find it’s place.
Have a wonderful visit
