Fall Inspirations

Got out with my camera on Sunday.  Lovely 75 degree weather, blue blue skies - just unbelievable for end of October in upstate NY.  I liked the way these leaves fell on the wet grass.

The weekend was again a challenge eating-wise.  Went to a TOPs Fall Rally (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and they served a very unhealthy breakfast of bacon, sausage, iced sweet rolls ….they did have eggs and fruit…but you would think that a healthy eating organization would make the menu lighter.  Our chapter did a skit on foods of the world and wore hats from each country.  I was the Untited Kingdom and did the benitits of tea in using an exagerated English accent.  One of my friends made up a song to the Chiquita Banana  tune about the health benifits of bananas.  I will most likely be up a couple of pounds at weigh-in tonite.  Got to get back on track.

The stormy weather at home settled to a calm.  DH  and I helped our DD with her yard sale and we made some extra money for her.

Well, back to Monday work…..

  1. Would it be okay if I saved your pictures? Are they copyrighted? They’re so beautiful. The leaves photo makes me feel happy just looking at it.
The TOPS outing sounds like such fun. I agree, you’d think they’d have had lighter fare. What a good idea though, to have a club for taking off pounds.
Kudos on the garage sale! That’s supposed to be my next project. ;) Rubes

  2. Sure - no they are not copyrighted. Not sure how you save them, though. Yes…TOPs is all over the US and Canada…to find a local chapter go to TOPs.org.

I am gonna save your pictures. They are really good. So I can have them as a slideshow whenever I need a little modo lift.

    You are good!
