Sick today
I was up at 5 am with an upset stomach. Went in to work for an 8 am meeting and then tried to stick it out, but felt lousy. When I got home I slept for like 5 hours straight. I really don’t know what hit me! I’m skipping choir tonight and will probably sleep some more. I was just out in the backyard catchng the last of the sunshine. The squirrels know it’s fall, anyway. Watched them in the black walnut tree chewing open the nuts and running from one branch to another. It’s like a whole other world up there that normally I’m not ever aware of. Even saw a squirrel argument over one section of the tree.
DH and DD leave tonite for NYC. Wow..a weekend to myself (except for woking at the church “Apple Fest”. I plan to get up early on Sat and drive to this county forest to take some photos as the sun comes up. i know, crazy to get up early when I could sleep in, but I really need to catch the light in the am. If I wait until sunset I’ll come up with too many excuses not to go.
So..back to rest…
