Rainy Day Musings
I was browsing my photos on this rainy Tuesday and stopped at this one from a rain forest in Australia. I love the green and I’ve always loved to photgraph roots…not sure what the attraction is. Maybe it’s the evidence of natural life forces and trees holding on to the abundance of earth…oh well…just liked the picture.
I’m sitting in my office “cube” and can just see the top of a window over the edge of the “padded” wall. Raindrops are sliding down the window and drops are letting go of the window’s edge in a steady rhythm. We need the rain so I don’t mind. Just wish I was at home curled up in my bed reading a good book.
The Wendie points program is working for me so far. I have not been hungry at all and only messed up a little on the weekend. I’m very excited to be under 200 lbs for the first time in over 5 years.
My DH has his last day of work tomorrow and will be semi retired. It will be strange to have him home all of the time. Previous to this he was away during the week and home on weekends and school holidays. I got used to not cooking anything much for dinner, and eating my big meals a lunch in our great cafeteria here at work. Now I will need to change my habits again. It’s hard to think of meals at the end of the day. Maybe i should start planning weekly menus.
Well, musing time is over. On to work.
