A Tale of Five Stones Too Many

Our dog Jessie had to be put down. She had advanced cancer of the liver and spleen. We only took her to the vet a couple of hours ago. What makes it worse is my parents are out of the country at the moment so they weren’t there to say goodbye.

So I’ve been controlling the urge to weigh myself again until a week has passed from me starting this… that way there will hopefully me a measurable difference (my scales only work to the pound)… but I’ve had have this niggling urge all the time!
Grrrrr.
It shall not win!
