Cornwall and Cream Teas

I spent the weekend down in Cornwall, lasing about on the beach, flying giant kites, swimming and walking. Forgot to re-apply my suncream so I am sporting a heavily ‘Sun-kissed’ face. I’d blush from embarrassment but then my face turns a rather distressing shade of puce.
Unfortunately as I was Camping calorie counting was fairly challenging. I was with a group of friends and today we went to a small tea shop which served “the best cream tea’s in Devon” for those of you poor souls who don’t know what a cream tea is, it’s scones with clotted cream and jam and a pot of tea. I shared one with a friend and it was totally worth it, even if it was about 450 calories for just one scone with clotted cream and jam. Simply divine.
I don’t feel quite so bad as I could as afterwards we went on a longish walk to the coast, climed down a cliff to the beach and then went swimming. Then of course had to climb back up the cliff and walk back to the tea shop.
Wonderful, wonderful weekend.

Not hiding as such, just real life grabbed me by the ankels and dragged me away from my laptop! I’m in the middle of writing a week summary to make up for it :D
