Organisation
I’m sure you’re all familiar with the idea. You plan to go on a trip, the time gets closer, you think of what you want to bring and then the day before or even two days before you get yourself packed.
My sister has no idea of this concept. Now, she’s in charge of this trip to Wales, it was her idea. We’re leaving tomorrow, sometime after midday I as I have errands to run beforehand and nothing, nothing had been done to facilitate a quick and efficient setting off until about half and hour ago.
We’re quite simply doomed! We shall surely (and here is a list of possible calamities that may befall us in the next couple of days):
- Get lost in deepest darkest Wales as we still don’t know how to drive there.
- Be stuck all day in a small room with one small window because of torrential rain (Noooooooo! I’ve only just started my new exercise regime!!!!)
- Be forced to eat nothing but baked beans and rice for 5 days as we have no food (Noooooooo! I’ve only just started my new eating habits!!!!)
- Burn ourselves to a crisp as we have no sun cream.
- Be forced to eat using old ice cream containers and sticks we find in the garden from lack of cutlery and crockery.
- Get many, many blisters from having badly fitting Wellies.
- Have to eat at the local pub spending money we don’t have, and eating unknown number of calories.
- Get icky, disgusting itchy scalps from not having a shower to wash our hair in after working up a sweat.
Doomed. Doomed, Doomed Doomed! We. Are. Doomed.
Seriously though, I am concerned I’m going to fall at the first hurdle with this weight loss plan and not get up again.
You know, I actually feel better for writing this all down.
