Which means that the kids are home from school.  It is good though, I get to spend a few hours with them and they get to help me with the housework.  Today thus far I have loaded the dishwasher and done 1 load of laundry, fixed the kiddies breakfast, and am preparing to work out.  It is cold this morning….50 degrees. It rained all night so everything is soggy.  I think today I will stay in, give the old knee a break, and do some Denise Austin Exercise ball wrokouts and maybe some yoga.  I am just a teeny, tiny, bit sore from my run.  Not even enough to notice really unless I pay attention to it.  The knee appears to be a tad swollen- a side effect of whatever is wrong with it and my arthiritis.  I plan on icing it today while doing my homework.  Later I will go to vote, off to see BF, and then off to class. 

I stayed up past midnight doing that real age thing on the internet.  I am 3 years younger than I really am. That is cool.  What is aging me is (Surprise!) my eating habits.  It says that my calcium intake is low as well as my folic acid, potassium, vitamin C & E.  It says I need to lower my intake of red meat (duh!).  It says to better my cholesterol (which is good, but my good cholesterol is low) to not eat fish but then tells me I should eat fish cause it is good for me! So I am about as confused as I was before.  I just wish that someone would tell me what Ineed to eat everyday.  Even the food pyramid has wimped out.  Now you can adjust it to your “personal needs.” UGH!!  Where is my “YOU on a diet” book?  I need to read that.

I bought the 5 volume Karen Kingsbury Redemption series last night off of ebay.  She is a contemporary christian author.  But her books are awesome no matter what you believe.
