Chasing away Chubby

TIRED

I am really sick of getting those stupid spam comments.  Right now I have 344!!!  I am too tired to delete them tonight.  I will have to do it tomorrow!

I ran today.  That is the second time this week!  YAY ME!  Sunday I ran for 20 minutes and then today I ran for over 30.  The first 10 were start stop  because DS4 went with me and he really wasn’t in the mood to run much. (He’s went with me before and ran most of the way.)  So I took him back to my Mom and continued running.  It was almost time for the kids bus and I didn’t want to be seen running…how embarrassing would that be for  my kids??!?  So I ran on my sisters farm.  You think that running on asphalt is hard on your joints, but I am not so sure that trail running is any better.  I ran Cross country in HS and I had forgotten how hard it is.  You have to accomodate and balance your body constantly because the terrain is uneven and there are dips, and sometimes your running on the side of a hill, which is not good for the ankles.  Plus she has 2 gigantuous hills that are literally straight up.  So I ran all the way back to the back of her farm and back up.  That last hill was a killer.  Straight up.  I was already wore out from going up the other straight up hill.  But I sucked up my pain and ran it.  YAY me!

The biggest Loser last night was AWESOME!  I was so happy that FINALLY a woman won it.  I really was pulling for Kelly- she really inspired me when she was talking about that she hurt her back on the show and when she got home they found out she had a herniated disc and she just kept going- against her doctors warnings.  She didn’t give up and she lost even more weight.  That is awesome!  She looked great too.

Alli was almost too skinny.  I was so happy she won, and she looked great, but I hope she stops where she is at or she will look gross.  She looks thin and strong now.  If she loses more she will look anorexic.

I was really depressed to hear the people talking about how much they worked out to lose/ maintain their weight.  One guy runs in the morning before work and again after work.  I am lucky to get in a workout everyday!  That takes dedication.

I gave my notice at work. My last day is May 16th.  I become a full time student on May 19th.  It’s going to be scary to be unemployed.  I have had a job (or 2 or 3) at a time since I was 17.  I went to work when DS16 was 2 weeks old and have been employed since then.  I am going to live off of my 401K.  I just have enough to last a year.  I could stretch it out more if I substitute teach next fall.  I’m not graduating until May 2009  now.  I missed taking a class I was suppose too, and they don’t give it until the fall. I can’t take it and student teach too, because the class is during the day.  So I have to wait an entire semester to graduate because of one stupid class!  GEEZ!

I have been having fits with college lately.  Everything is still up in the air and it is driving me batty! Can’t wait to be done for good!

  3. Great running!!!! On surfaces; the one A. hates the most is cement, in fact, she refuses to do runs on the boardwalk anymore and I’ve heard several other runners complaining about it too. But she loves c.c.
